$ to $$... What a cozy Coffee House this is!! Had a good time here on business meeting. The Brick and Belle has great spaces inside in three separate rooms and outside on the large porch and extensive surrounding patio. Very popular, loads of people studying, writing, discussing, sharing their cool interests. Mostly positive clientele insure my time is enjoyable. I often meet and engage with others that perhaps overhear and share openly something they value (I like that). Rachelle and Maria were gracious and committed to way above average service... This cool coffee house has an extensive menu also. It is situated a few blocks from the Pacific Ocean and only one block off bustling Garnet Ave in what I call San Diego's Party Town (Pacific Beach). PB is a destination known all over the world; world travelers frequently make this beautiful artful area their starting and ending point (some people say PB is cozy). Hope this helps. I believe you will like Brick and Belle!

Great place to stop by for some pastries, coffee, and a sandwich. Indoor seating not available, but there are tables on the sidewalk and patio. Brick and Bell was bustling with lots of activity when I visited on a Saturday afternoon. I got the half BLT sandwich with the chicken grape salad combo. I got the sandwich served on ciabatta bread, which was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. This was probably the healthiest meal I had all week, and I appreciated all the fresh ingredients that was put in the food. Customer service was also great and something worth calling out, since someone in my group had to wait over 30 min for a breakfast burrito, but the staff gave us some scones as an apology for the mixup (scones were light, cakey and full of fresh fruit!). Overall positive experience for a quick and healthy bite to eat.

If you used to frequent the great Cafe 976 that used to be here you will be very disappointed with Brick and Bell. The menu is uninspired and the food is bland. The ice tea was terrible and they only have two choices of bagel: plain and whole wheat. What kind of cafe doesn't have everything bagels? My wife ordered the bagel sandwich with eggs and bacon and it was something that we could have made better at home for less money. I asked for some hot sauce and they had none. No Tapatio, no Cholula. They did have some Tabasco in packets which is kind of weird. Also, everything is served on paper plates and plastic thing cups. That's alot of waste. Just save your time and money and avoid this place. There are so many great cafes in Pacific Beach and this is not one of them.

Edited: 1 star - 3 stars (Please see below for original review) Manager was nice enough to correct the problem and provide feedback to employees. ————————— Original: I’ve been a loyal customer for 1-2 years, came at least 4 times a week for their coffee. They didn’t answer the phone for orders and I wasn’t able to order online, so I had my friend order in store and pick up for me this one time. I wanted iced drinks and hot drinks were prepared. It is understandable, so I went to the cafe to politely ask to remake for me. They declined my request with rude attitude. They said there has been a misunderstanding, and since it’s not their fault, replacement cannot be made and I need to pay for drinks again. When I showed them I didn’t even drink a sip, the milk foam appears to go down and that’s why it’s not filled up all the way to the top, they decided to replace just one cup of coffee and still refused to replace the other one. I understand there was misunderstanding between my friend and the employee, but this is first time happening and I’m very disappointed with their customer service and the way they are handling this situation. They made me feel like I’m requesting something unreasonable and they were extremely rude. Another employee also came up and tried to argue, giving me dirty looks, speaking in different language, obviously complaining about this situation. I’ve been coming here frequently because coffee was good, but I will never come back again. It’s because of their horrible customer service. Other cafes would’ve handled this situation a lot better. Even if they decided not to replace $5-6 drink, if they tried to apologize that there was misunderstanding so can’t remake, I wouldn’t have been this frustrated and leave this review. They tried to argue 5 minutes straight with rude attitude and no apology in order to not remake one drink. I see other reviews about their attitude and bad customer service, and I see why. They just lost a...

Good Product with no good service and good service with no good products are both bad business. Hi, I stopped by this place around 9:am to give this place a try and asked if they baked their pastries that morning and the answer was “Yes; We bake all of our pastries every morning.” I got exited and ordered one almond croissant and a cappuccino. Unfortunately, Some business don’t hesitate to insult their costumers intelligence and with zero regards. My almond croissant was at least two days old to become as dry and hard as it was but my cappuccino was great. I think It’s always a better choice to loose 15 old croissants than loosing 15 costumers a day. I took back the croissant and asked them to give me a fresh one!, they said they are all the same and insisting they were all baked that morning with no apologies! With all due respect to those who give this coffee shop a 4 or 5 stars perhaps never been to one!. I hope your experience will be better than mine. Thank you for...
