ABSOLUTELY WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!
I was so happy when Burger King was removed and McDonalds was to replace it. I was one of the first in line the day it opened and I eat there at lease 3 times a week. But recently when I place large orders there is usually something missing from the order or the quality has been subpar. So I as a customer have been letting corporate know of these issues.
One thing I absolutely hate is that they are not very good about giving receipts in the bag. That is a pain for just general book keeping but that can be overlooked. Last week they completely forgot to include a sandwich and an order of fries. I tried to call them to complain but their phone system doesn't even work. I called for 1 hour straight to hear it ring but then go to a FAX reception. So I contacted corporate and they sent a message to the store. A couple days later I received a nice call from one of the managers at the store asking what had happened. I gave him my account of the errors and he apologized courteously an offered to replace 2 of the meals for free. I accepted. I was told that my name would be put in a book and that when I had time I could come by and inform any of the managers of the issue and they would reference the matter in the book.
Fast forward to today. I come in ... a place I frequent often and explain to the cashier that I had a couple of free meals I'd like to have. The manager comes over at a brisk pace and accosts me stating that he recognizes me and that I have complained before. I am the ONLY customer that ever complains and then accuses me of lying about the order being wrong. Asking time and time again what was wrong with the previous order.
Now I'm pissed. I told him I don't have to explain again why it was wrong... just that it was wrong. I was already offered some food to make it right and he just keeps going on about wanting to know what I am complaining about and why I am the only one that ever does. I start to raise my voice and now he wants to take the conversation private. I don't care at this point about the food. The jerk is questioning my honesty and honor.
This manager is named TJ and if you are reading this you are not fit to be a manager. I own several fast food franchises and I have NEVER seen someone with a lack of social grace as you sir.
I will not be dining at YOUR restaurant if you are present. I have no problems with McDonalds or any of the other managers but I will not subject myself to your belittling and demeaning tone.

Read moreToday I went to this location and ordered a couple of the Pokemon happy meals for my kids. They were so excited about them since they're avid collectors. Later this evening my husband went back to get a couple more to surprise the kids and specified when he was ordering that he wants the Pokemon happy meals. The person at the drive thru did not say they were out. When he got to the second window after paying, they tried giving him their backup happy meals (not the Pokemon ones). He asked the manager why he got these and they said they ran out of the Pokemon happy meals at 11am. This was weird considering I was there at 3:45 pm. Knowing this information of when I went there, he asked why they were lying about when they were out and the manager walked off. The window cashier appeared and again my husband asked why they lied about when they ran out. She ignored him to take another drive thru order and when he asked again she walked away. My husband then went to the Carmel Mt. location and was quickly told they were out of them at the drive thru and gave a proper time of when they ran out. They also had a sign on the drive thru window saying they were out.
Look I may sound like a Karen right now and my husband is never agressive with service employees because we both worked in customer service/retail. However, we've lived in the area for 10+ years and this location seems to get worse every visit. This was just the last straw that broke the...
Read moreUPDATE 2022 DECEMBER This restaurant seems to have been severely affected by current staffing difficulties. The window staff are friendly and helpful, but the inside folks are less helpful when we come inside to the counter to ask for corrections. I have learned to use their app to be sure they get my order correctly. Still, there are errors about 50% of the time. Yes, we do "customize" some items, which often correlates with errors. Do take your receipt to resolve errors. Occasionally the app is the error. It will allow you to order discontinued items or items not available in this store. I have gone through the drive-thru line to learn that they don’t have my order and somehow it's my fault. By myself I can be patient, but hungry children are less patient. Never thought I'd be reviewing a McDonald's, but I'd like to give them a thank you for a couple of things: I like the app. I can pick up the grands from school and swing by the drive-through for a snack while maintaining our Covid bubble. We each have our customizations and preferences in the app. The deals are fun, too. The children take turns giving the order code. This should have been #1.
