Great Breakfast, but one unpleasant interaction

I had breakfast here on Sunday, and it was one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had in San Diego. The food was delicious, and the service from both the cashier and the waiter was excellent, very attentive and friendly.

Since it was a busy morning, there was a long line to order food and drinks, and it moved quite slowly. However, once we placed our order, the food came out surprisingly fast.

The only downside to my experience was an interaction with the barista. He came to our table to deliver our drinks but did so in a way that felt unnecessarily aggressive, almost slamming them onto the table. It was clear that he was frustrated, likely because we had stepped outside to find a table instead of waiting for our names to be called for the drinks. This was my mistake, I completely forgot that the server had mentioned they would call our names. That said, I would have appreciated a simple, “I was calling your name”. I even thanked him, but he didn’t respond.

I’m so surprised by how bad my drink was because of the raving reviews. I got the iced matcha latte, flat white,and the No Loko, and unfortunately all the drinks were bad.
