I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that the business owner wrote the previous review. Don't be naive... This store is the essence of what is wrong with most businesses. I went here to ship a digital thermometer via USPS (postal service). I needed something protective to ship it in. They up-sold me to a box, then politely asked if I would like them to help me package it. I obliged. After that, the "polite" employee asked me if I'd like to buy some tape, or just have her tape the box up. No brainer? Right? It seemed like it; until I got the total... $6.70 for a tiny cardboard box, a 12" x 14" piece of bubble wrap (yes, they charged me) and the labor for our polite employee to fold the flaps of the box, cut three (3) pieces of tape and close the box. It was shear lunacy. I paid almost $7 for $0.50 of materials and 2 minutes of her labor. That didn't include any postage. In the end, I didn't ship the package here... they charge a "service fee" for USPS services. Surprise!! This store is trying to leech off of people downtown who have enough disposable income to not look too closely at their costs. This store is a joke and should be avoided if at all possible. Read moreJust want to say that the MANAGER by the name SUSAN and also the employee KIM are incompetent. I came in and paid for packaging and shipping and a box for $30 dlls. The box a few days later shows up at my door. Turns out these incompetent employees poorly packaged my item, and also used a extremely bigger box to ship my item than needed , so the carrier decided to decline shipping my item and sent it back. I walk in in person and talk to KIM, and i asked for a resolution for this issue, i request to get a refund since they did a poor job and packing my item and also used a incorrect box. She refuses the refund and contacts "Susan" the manager , which also refuses to help me. I paid for a service and also a box for NOTHING! and they refused to help. Lastly i requested a replacement box to properly package my own item now , and they wanted me to purchase another box , instead of correcting their error. PLEASE don't give this place your business. NEVER going back to this rathole again. Kim and Susan were incompetent at properly handling this situation and providing excellent customer service. Read moreAs stated with other reviews, this store and specifically the owner Suzanne does not care at all about your packages or you as a customer. I shipped a package with the pack and ship guarantee service (where the store packs it and gives insurance) that arrived broken, and after months of contacting the store, they have constantly given me the run-around. Suzanne also refuses to speak with you directly to figure out the situation. You can use this store, but don't expect any service if your package is damaged.
Hilariously the owner seems to only reply to reviews on Google instead of contacting you with any issues. To respond to her response, I had to contact the store every time. She is completely lying about contacting me with any follow up and she refuses to contact me even now. She mentions her staff has conversed with me which is true (her staff is great by the way) but none of those conversations were initiated by her staff or her store, I had to call weekly. You would think that something that she would try to help as much as possible for something that is completely the fault of her store, but you'll be lucky to hear anything from her.
