Worst customer service ever. Young lady didn’t greet us in any acknowledgment. Continued making boxes. No one else was in the store.
I asked: Are all these croissants the same? Her: No (without a followup. My friend: What’s different about them. Her: They’re different flavors. My friend: Oh? Her: different flavors of fruit My friend: I’d like to order the #1 Her: (no comment but she looked at me as I stepped closer) Me: same please Her: (no comment but started ringing up the order) Me: Are you cash only? Her No *At this time I was ready to walk out but very hungry so I left a small tip. I looked at all the empty table that were all very dirty. Perhaps several customers Sat at dirty tables. I sat at the table outside but no one came out to clean it. She kept making boxes. I approached the counter. Me; Do you have someone who can clean the table outside. Her: That would be me. Me: Great. Can you please clean the table outside? Her: What table do you want cleaned. Me the one outside please. *I waited at the counter with my friend for our order while she cleaned the table. Her: (she returned behind the counter and resumed making boxes.) After 2 minutes she said: All ready. My friend looked for the food. I looked for the food. Me: What’s all ready? Her: Duh, the table. (Since she was making boxes for several minutes, neither of us assumed the table was the subject as it would have been appropriate to mention that when it was ready vs minutes later. Her: Oh did you need me to be more specific? Me: thanks you for clarifying.

Read moreIm from Scotland and have been lucky enough to holiday in Ocean Beach on numerous occassions as a child. Each year we would always go back to OB donuts as it had become a firm favourite amongst the family. Just a glazed donut and a strawberry nesquik each time but the memories will always remain. Not from the donuts - which are by far the best i have ever had - but from the lovely owners themselves. Each year we would stop by and each year they remembered us as the 'Scottish guys', giving us each a free donut after we left because we travelled all those miles 'just for our donuts'. No idea why people are saying they havent had good service here because i've never met a shop that would remember a specific family year after year as soon as they stepped...
Read moreI've been going to this donut shop since I was little & Im 25 now; so happy to see this place stay after so long! Honestly one of my favorite places to get donuts along with Christie's(?) Donuts across from the PL Library. It's a 5ish minute walk from my house & the staff if always so friendly & welcoming. The donuts are always good & always fresh. If you come early enough in the morning they'll give you couple free donut holes. Not much else I can say really but this place is just the best place to go for donuts &...
