Read moreNovember 2024 updates- The last 3 months I've been ordering to go food from this PF Changs location and had pretty good success with tasty warm meals. This is much improved over prior years and my original post below. There are many new additions to the menu as well as more vegetarian options. The staff has been very congenial and helpful and seemed to really enjoy their job there. I've updated my original three stars to five stars enjoy! Most P.F. Chang's locations tend to be reliably good with a nice variety of foods items and fairly good table service. However not this one. I first went to this location shortly after it opened and have continued to find it problematic. The meals and service I've experienced have always been in the unacceptable range. Here's the usual run down: 1. Wait 15 minutes to 1 1/2 hours for a table as they are usually very busy 2. Get your table but have trouble getting your servers attention to order anything 3 Get your order in but wait a long, long, long time to get it. Many times the food at the same table comes out at different times to different people-ugh. Or the meal comes out before the appetizer. Or the soup or side dish is completely forgotten. I have even gotten my drink after the meal was served. If you have any issues with your food or need something as simple as soy sauce don't expect to get it quickly or at all. 4 Try to flag down your server to get the bill because you're late for your next meeting. About a year after the last time I was there someone invariable convinces me to go back. I always have the same results-not good. For example I have had watered down soup- the Wonton Soup, very bitter and heavily salted items-Coconut Curry Vegetables, chewy overcooked nearly inedible shrimp-Crispy Honey Shrimp and Walnut Shrimp with Melon, and most soups with not much in them except a watery-soy sauce broth. Many times food is cold or room temperature, not hot. Poorly made entrees I think I can fix (like the curry dish) I bring home and doctor them up to eat the next day for lunch. Obviously this does not work with overcooked shrimp. The website is less than helpful with Happy Hour menu only having drinks and no food items listed. The noise level at this location is so loud talking to your dinner partner is nearly impossible. With tile flooring and glass surrounding most of the restaurant it makes it very reflective of sound. Parking has always been an issue for me here. I was told on my last visit that the valet is free and the hostess validates parking for the garage next door but have not confirmed either of these. I've frequently found the parking garage next to the restaurant -which is expensive-will be full or have a broken entry or exit gate. If you've read this far I will pass on my Feng Shui for the design of this P.F. Chang's. I am completely convinced that one of the main issues with this location is diners eat their meals looking at the rear ends of two giant concrete horses which stand on either corner of the building. Insider tips: If you have to go here for a meeting eat at the bar. Usually you'll still wait for an opening but not as long as a table. The bartenders are more attentive and faster than the regular table servers. Share a meal with someone else in case yours is bad. Ask the server what the best selling entree is and order...
Read moreLove PF Chang's but recommend diners skip this location. Poor management, understaffed, lots of deferred maintenance.
Each time we go for dinner there is always a line, but half the dining area is always empty. Enough tables, not enough employees. You'll end up waiting for a table and your server will be overworked. Our poor server at one point came to the table and was sweating. Make reservations ahead of time.
So they still make you scan a QR code and read the menu on your phone. Great idea except a physical menu is so much easier, especially for the elderly. Walked up to the hostess and waited for her to finish flirting with one of the employees who wanted to sit and drink at the bar. Asked her for paper menus and she handed me one. Asked for another and she seemed annoyed I had to interrupt her convo 2x for a paper menu. Then she went right back to speaking with the employee.
Food was ok the last time we went. Typically it's amazing, but most of the dished we got were meh at best. Shishitos were overcooked. Beef broccoli was overcooked.
Restaurant could use some TLC, especially the bathrooms which looked disgusting. For a place like PF Chang's, this is unacceptable. Dirty, old, fixtures broken, out of paper towels, etc.. This location has been around for a while, but no excuse to let things go like this. Poor management.
When you pay, you now have to scan another qr code and pay on your phone. So now instead of just handing the server two credit cards, the restaurant wants me to work to scan the QR code, pull up a website I've never heard of before, figure out how to split the bill, and enter in all the credit card information myself. You've taken one of the easiest things to do and made it more cumbersome. I'm all for technology when it makes things easier, but between the online menu and paying your own bill on your phone, PF Chang's use of technology is completely backwards. They're just shifting the work on to the paying customer.
No thanks, won't be returning to this location again until. Only saving grace was our server who was polite, helpful, and on top of things. Management needs to be replaced and decisions should be revisited. Why make things harder on...
