DO NOT BUY PURPLE SHEETS – HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE & POOR QUALITY
This review is NOT about this specific Purple store, but I need to share my experience with the company so others don’t make the same mistake.
My fiancé and I spent over $700 on Purple Sheets, expecting premium quality. Instead, within months, they discolored —something I have never experienced with much cheaper sheets that have lasted twice as long. And if that wasn’t bad enough, the duvet zipper broke too!
Naturally, we reached out to Purple’s customer service expecting some level of accountability under their 1-year warranty. Instead, we were met with excuses, blame, and zero responsibility. Their response?
"The discoloration of your duvet cover isn't a defect with the duvet. This can happen with oily skin and just happen over time."
"Oily skin can corrode sheets and duvet materials, causing them to break down and lose their integrity."
Excuse me? So my $100 Amazon sheets don’t corrode from normal use, but my $700+ Purple sheets do? That’s ridiculous.
To make matters worse, it took over a week between email responses, and when we called to try and speak with the rep handling our case, we were told they "do not do phone calls." What kind of "premium" brand refuses to speak to customers when they have an issue? I have never seen such a lack of accountability from a company that claims to be high-end.
At this point, I feel completely ignored and dismissed. Purple does not stand behind its products, and this whole experience has made it clear that they care more about avoiding responsibility than actually providing quality and service to their customers.
If this is how Purple treats people who spend hundreds of dollars on their products, I can’t stay silent about it. People deserve to know before wasting their money on Purple. I will NEVER buy from them again, and I strongly urge others to reconsider before making the...
Read moreMe and my family have been to this store multiple times. Overall, the enviornment is pretty chill and welcoming; the staff gives you your space to try out the pillows, mattresses, and cushions at your leisure and there is no pressure to buy/rush to try the products. Each visit to the store we experienced the best customer service. While all the staff we interacted and spoke with during our visits were all friendly and helpful, Sachiko was the one who helped us the most especially with our transaction. She was really patient and attentive when we had a lot of questions. She helped guide us through the transaction process and helped us sign up for installment payments via affirm. She was very welcoming, personable, and extremely knowledgeable about the products. She truly made our experience in store the absolute best. Regarding the actual products, I purchased a premier hybrid 4 mattress and some harmony pillows. While it did take a few nights to get used to, I can honestly say that I have never had a better night's sleep. I feel like I'm laying down on a cloud when I'm on the mattress and the pillow. The support on the mattress is no joke; I no longer have any lower back or neck pain when I wake up in the morning. If you're thinking about splurging on a new mattress or pillow, I definitely reccomend dropping by the store and trying them out. They also offer a 100 nights refund policy where you can keep/try a mattress and/or pillows for 100 nights and return them for a full refund if you are not...
Read moreI was in Fashion Valley yesterday where there is a store and after seeing many advertisements on TV I wanted to find out more about this particular bed. When I walked in there were two young women Associates sitting on the couch with their legs folded folded looking at their phones and not paying any attention to me. I stood there and stared and finally one got up. As far as customer service and knowledgeable I didn't find it here. I was asking a lot of questions and was given short answers where I had to ask more in-depth questions to get more information. Just a heads up my background in physiology was not really convinced. I did lie down on a couple of different beds and the prices range from $1300 to over $3,000. I asked the associate to tell me the difference between the prices of these beds. She explained a little bit and said that the $1,300 one was for students as they didn't care what they slept on. Really? For $1,300? She talked about the other beds and that they were good for people that like to sleep on their side and had arthritis. I don't know who's running the show over there regarding training for their employees. I do wish...
