Very high end eatery with a dog friendly patio. I was surprised at how empty it was when we went since it only just opened, until I saw the prices on the menu. They have a small lunch menu that's around $30 per plate, but most of the food is much more than that, so if spending a lot of lunch annoys you, come here for dinner instead.
The food is definitely worth the price.
We started with their focaccia, which was very good. We both got cocktails as well. I forget what mine was called, but they brought it in a glass jar filled with moss and smoke, and it was FANTASTIC.
I got the center cut fillet with a side of asparagus. The fillet was EXCELLENT. They cook over an Argentinian style food fired grill, and it added a wonderful flavor to the meat. This is a place that knows how to cook a rare steak the right way. Every bite was so flavorful, I savored all I ounces. I was also pleased with the asparagus. All of the stems were fully cooked and tender. I normally expect a little woodiness on the thickest ones, not so here.
My wife got the truffle pasta. It came with a generous amount of shaved truffle, both on top and mixed in. We could also tell the pasta was made fresh, not dried.
For dessert we had the flourless chocolate cake. They also brought us a serving of gelato with a berry compote, because we were celebrating both of our birthdays. I'm not a big fan of flourless chocolate cake, but it was definitely a good one. The berry compote was to die for however. Next time we come here (there definitely will be a next time) I'll be tempted to just ask for a bowl of the compote.
Besides the food, the service here was also excellent. When we sat they put our napkins in our laps for us. They're definitely going for a high end feeling (which matches the prices for sure). Our waiter was incredibly friendly, everything was well put together, it was just a really nice time. I hope they're able to maintain that feeling once they've been open for a while.
They're definitely going to give The Winery a run for their money for being a perfect high end date night restaurant. I definitely am looking forward to my next excuse to...

Wow—what an incredible experience at Amalfi Llama! I had been here previously with some girl friends and enjoyed it so much I made sure to bring my parents back! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and exceptional service, and our amazing waitress Irey truly made the night absolutely perfect. She was so friendly, funny, attentive, and already knowledgeable after only having started 2 months ago, not to mention genuinely kind—it felt like we were being taken care of by a friend.
The food? 10/10 (get the truffle pasta. Just do it) The cocktails? 10/10 (if you like mezcal, get the purple orchid drink) Ambiance? 9/10 (only deterrent is some honking from the parking lot but they did an amazing job with making it feel like you’re in Italy!) *stroller friendly if you call ahead and it’s not on a busy night! Patio has heaters and shades!
We had the branzino, roasted chicken, truffle pasta, and short rib empanadas—each dish was beyond delicious! The flavors were rich, yet perfectly balanced, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality and passion behind every bite.
What really stood out was how vibey and cool the layout for both inside and outside was while also being kid-amenable. it can be rare to find a place that nails both, but Amalfi Llama does it effortlessly. The atmosphere is lively, stylish, and fun, and the music is ALWAYS poppin making it perfect for a night out while still being welcoming for families.
To top it off, one of the owners Hector personally came over to say hello, which was a nice touch. It’s clear that this restaurant is run with love and dedication. Hats off to you Messi - being from Miami, this place speaks to me… so thanks for making this place so special

Read moreI love going to UTC and have always seen this place at the mall and thought how funny the name is. So, for my birthday I went ahead and tried it. This is a more "high-end" restaurant, so pretty expensive. We got there pretty much when they opened at 11. I believe we were greeted by the manager and he sat us to our table. Right off the bat atmosphere is amazing. It's very beautiful inside and the lighting had a warm hue making it have a more welcoming approach. The manager(?) was very nice as well. Menu wasn't too big, but it had a lot of variety. Again, prices were not nearly as bad as I was expecting. Expensive for sure, but now how I thought. Our waiter was good too. Explained to us about the menu and checked up on us accordingly. I was debating on getting the pizza, which was 21 dollars or the half chicken which was 36 dollars. I ended up getting the half chicken. It was good! But I wouldn't get it again. The chicken was juicy and tender, and had a really great texture but the overall flavoring was just a little weird for lack of better words. Starts off tasting very good and savory and then it kind of turns into a sour taste. Just interesting. My mom got these shredded beef sliders, I don't remember their name but they were like Bánh mì sliders. And they were AMAZING. The whole time I was literally thinking that I should've gotten those. Again, the chicken was good but all I could think about was how much better the sliders were. They came with side fries which were also amazing and the sauce for dipping the sliders was just a cherry on top. Bill came out to roughly around 70 bucks for two people. I would recommend this place if you wanna go somewhere nice or if your in the area. Very nice place, food was good and I will...
