I usually really love this place and have come countless times, but this last visit pretty much sealed the deal on me not coming back to this location anymore. I recently stopped by on Sunday 7/20/25 between 1-1:30 pm. As I was placing my pastries on my tray, I was bumped by another customer and one of my pastries fell off the tray and onto the floor. My husband and I picked up the pastry, grabbed a second, new one, for our tray and proceeded up to the register. As they were ringing up our $30+ of pastries, we handed the dirty pastry over and told the associates it had fallen to the floor. One associate said we had to pay half of what it was worth. I confirmed and asked if we really had to pay for the dirty pastry and she confirmed. Fair. So we agreed and paid half price. The girl proceeded to throw away the dirty pastry after charging us for it. She didn’t even ask if we wanted to keep it. Not that we would have eaten it, but I was surprised we were basically forced to pay for something just so they can throw it away. As other customers overheard our interaction, I can only imagine that this would incentivize customers to place dirty pastries back on shelves in order to avoid having to pay for them. We then asked them why they didn’t ask us if we wanted to keep it and the associate said she assumed we wouldn’t want it. She then said she can give us a new one and grabbed another one. Then the associate at the register proceeded to charge us for a new one when we never confirmed we wanted to buy a new one. We just left, assuming the receipt was in the box. When we were driving on the freeway, I checked and they did not even bother to give us a receipt. Needless to say, we are not the type of people to make a huge fuss but we do value customer service. While the pastries are good, the lack of customer service wins out over food taste. We simply decided that there are plenty of other pastry/cake places we can spend our money on and going out of our way to grab food here is no...
Read moreI should’ve written this review a while ago, but I love Paris Baguette! especially this one employee named Matt. He’s so helpful and is very experienced. Even when it gets super busy, he works really hard and fast (and so does everyone there I’ve noticed). The employees are really nice! My favorite thing to get is usually the ham and cheese crossaint, but they didn’t have it when I came in yesterday so Matt suggested the honey garlic baguette for me to try. IT WAS SO DELICIOUS!! I never get dissapointed whenever I try new things from their menu. Matt also helped me pick out a cake for my Mom’s birthday (she’s a chocoholic) so he suggested the chocolate cake that looks like a coffee cup, with the actual cup made out of chocolate. My mom was so obsessed with it and loved it!! From decorations to taste- the cake was so perfect and so is my experience everytime I go to PB. Would definitely recommend Paris Baguette to...
Read moreI ordered a pastel de nata (Portuguese egg tart), crab meat croquette, and an iced matcha latte. The egg tart and croquette was good but I think they put too much matcha in the latte, it gave me a headache. The annoying thing about this location is H-Mart made the entrance to Paris Baguette an exit forcing customers to have to walk across that dirty and smelly super market to get to the bakery, and have to pass by all the slow walking shoppers with carts, in order to get to the bakery.
I like H-Mart just not this particular location because it stinks 👃👃👃and I can’t find what I need. The H-Mart in convoy is much better. The parking at this location I am not even gna go into it 🙄 that’s a whole...
