I'm 66, my wife is 59 years old. We were on our Honeymoon 9-25 & 26 2015 when we visited Patrick's. Unbelievable fun dancing, The music was a fast beat and we danced for 4 hours non stop each night. Had a blast both nights. The highlight of our 15 days in California! Wish they had bands this good in Indiana. Walter the big black man on the saxophone played 5 notes for every one that most players would play. We was a dynamite sax player. He played his heart out! Hats off to Patrick's. We'll never forget it. My wife is still smiling and it's been eight days since we were there. Glad thatwe took pictures before the show the second night- Walter stood between us on the Stage with the Patrick's sign in the middle of the pictures we took with him. He wouldn't even except my tip. Super memory, Don and Ellen Harris...

This place is everything you’d hope for in a downtown Gaslamp bar: welcoming, lively, and just downright fun. What truly sets it apart though? The people.

Massive shoutout to LEXI, the bartender whose energy and warmth transformed our evening, and EUGENE, part of the staff team who made sure everything ran smoothly. Their enthusiasm and genuine hospitality are the reasons I’ll keep coming back. I literally went Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday because I wanted to see Lexi and Eugene.

Bonus points for their perfect Guinness draft pours (yes, the kind that hits the spot every time) and the surprisingly delicious house-made peanut butter shots, a quirky but unforgettable treat.

Can’t wait...

Cute bar which is why we went in for the last drink of the night, unfriendly service, short dark hair female bartender….. ordered a drink and to my surprise they charge for the ice separate, $4 for “rocks” seriously! Should this maybe this be adviced to customers? I did not ask for special ice which was just a regular cube but larger, not the good quality ones as it melt quick, wanted to mention to the bartender but she was too busy flirting with a customer sat next me. Told the security guy on the way out as friendly feedback to maybe re consider charging a customer for ice, I been to the nicest bars where they serve you the nicest drinks with the nicest ice and never ever been charged...

Note: This review is for NFL game day only. Patrick's Gaslamp Pub is a great bar for Buffalo Bills fan and a fun place to be on game day for fans of any team. When we visited there was a potluck featuring nachos and buffalo wings (of course). They also had popcorn. The whole place has a backyard party feel. John the bartender was very helpful and friendly. We haven't had this much fun at a bar since the Chargers left. It was our first visit and will be back again this coming weekend.

This was the first spot of the night on this Sunday, however unfortunately upon stepping ten steps in the door. A employee had walked up rather aggressively and refused service as well rudely turned me around. The reason: I appeared intoxicated.( Which I am limping and haven't had one drink for the day ) I honestly feel disrespected along with little trust in the ethics and professionalism. I will not ever return nor spend any money with this establishment
