Discovered a true gem in San Diego's vibrant Gaslamp Quarter - the Exclusive Collections Gallery, a sophisticated fine art destination that's been enriching the local art scene since its founding in 1995 with the philosophy that 'art is an essential component of our lives.' This elegant gallery has built a loyal collector base by expertly curating a diverse collection that creates a Legacy in Art.
The gallery impresses with its thoughtfully organized exhibition spaces showcasing captivating works by contemporary artists. I was particularly drawn to Fabio Napoleoni's emotive robot-themed pieces with their charming storytelling quality, while Michael Flohr's impressionistic paintings of urban scenes, horse races, and elegant dining experiences demonstrate exceptional brushwork and vibrant color palettes. On the corner of 5th & Market, the gallery has become known for its impressive collection of paintings, sculpture, and glasswork and welcomes visitors with a striking colorful chandelier as they step inside.
The gallery proudly holds the distinction of being 'the Gaslamp's first individually-owned Native American business,' with owner Ruth Ann Thorn (a member of the Rincon Band of Luiseno Indians) serving as a passionate ambassador for diverse artistic voices, including featuring outstanding Native American artists from across the country. Both the expertly curated collection and the knowledgeable staff make this historic gallery a must-visit destination for art enthusiasts seeking quality contemporary works in the heart...

The last payment I made of $1k in cash to my sales associate on 16 April 2024 is unaccounted for. This discrepancy was brought to the attention of the owner, And her reply was, “you have to take that up with the sales associate”. She was no help. The owner, knew I was frustrated and she said “it would be in the best interest if we give you a refund of $2500. I asked about the missing $1k and her reply was “I’m not going back and forth about this”. Now I have to file a claim in small courts against Exclusive Galley and a complaint with BBB. The owner didn’t even apologize. My first art purchase I got ripped off for $1k. Guess collecting art isn’t for me. See...
