I would have loved to give this service a 5-star review, but unfortunately the best I could give in good conscience is 1.

We started two custom wedding rings with JewelryThis in April, and eventually, almost a month later than what we were promised, our rings arrived. My fiancé's ring is gorgeous and there is no denying that. Mine, however, was a disaster. My setting was entirely crooked and there was an issue with my diamond. Obviously, we had to send it back.

The only positive thing I can say about this experience is that Carrie and the rest of the team were more than willing to correct these issues. They did not hassle us at all and were extremely apologetic.

Despite their willingness to correct their mistakes, I am leaving this review because we still do not have my ring and no one has been able to provide a completion date. They said they were hopeful that they MIGHT be able to get my ring to me around 15 days before my wedding. My wedding is in less than a month and I still have nothing, while they have $5K from my fiance sitting in their bank.

They have been polite, and the piece my fiance recieved is beautiful, but it does not make up for the fact that they have not met a single deadline promised to us. They have also not been able to provide me with any ample updates on a real completion date for over a week. I have a background in jewelry and the timeline they are giving me makes no sense for casting a simple piece and setting exactly one diamond. At my last jewelry job, we were able to do that for customers in the matter of a few days once the piece was fully designed.

At this point, I would say to only use this service if you are OK with no deadlines being met and the possibility that you will not have your piece in time for whatever you may need. Custom service is nice, but I am positive that nearly any other custom jeweler would have been more attentive to my fiance and I and would have made us feel more like the money we spent was worth it.

UPDATE: Miraculously, within an hour of me posting this review, Carrie reached out with a completion date for my ring. I stand by my 1-star review of this service. Even if my ring is flawless, JewelryThis has robbed me of the excitement and joy I should feel towards my upcoming wedding as I have had to stress endlessly about whether or not I would even have a wedding ring. Despite their efforts, I will not be using them again or recommending them to anyone. I just want my ring so I can be done...

Wow! I had never heard of Jewelrythis before. I had an idea for a very specific 925 sterling silver pendant for a sterling silver curb chain I have and i must have searched for 3 months and could not find what I was looking for. I was becoming increasingly frustrated with the search because I did not want to settle. I happened to come across Jewelrythis while searching google, knew nothing about the company, never heard of it before but, I figured I would give it a shot and see maybe if they could custom make what it was that I wanted. After filling out some basic information with a description of what I was looking to have done, they linked me up with one of their designers named Carrie, and after some messaging back and forth with Carrie, she designed a prototype and sent it to me and I was blown away. She nailed it! It was exactly what I was imagining in my head, and from that point she took me through a very short process, stayed in almost daily contact with me the entire time until the pendant was made and completed. They even worked with me on making payments instead of paying it all at once which was a huge help to me. Once it was finished, it was shipped to me Fedex and it was in my hands within 4 days and it looks incredible! Just a gorgeous piece and exactly how I wanted it. Came in a really nice jewelry box too (my wife took the box from me almost immediately after I removed the pendant.) Anyway, Jewelrythis was great and will be my first choice for any future custom made jewelry I may want in the future. They do great work, great experience, reasonable pricing, great customer service, fast delivery and 100% satisfaction! And if you're lucky enough to be assigned to Carrie she is awesome and has great vision!! Thank you again...

I'm going to share something IMPORTANT about my experience with this company. If you're hesitating about buying from them, please read on:

I chose to commission this company with the crafting of my wedding band. I was balling on a budget at the time, but I wanted something specific that no one else was offering. After I consulted with them, I paid the down payment. Over the next couple of weeks I received pictures and updates about how the cast was going: It looked amazing. They sent me pictures of the Alexandrite gem I requested in the center and it was exactly the cut I wanted. When I received it i was excited...until I opened the box and saw something not quite as amazing as I was looking for (The gem was held down by 2 shoddy soldering points, the gem was misaligned, and the bevels of the middle were deformed, See Pic 2). This left me heartbroken and disappointed. BUT, after not finding a "refund" section on their site, I decided to contact the rep. I was working with and pleaded my case. I showed them how the final product was unprofessional and not what they promised in the AutoCAD pictures/moldings. AND THEY REBUILT THE ENTIRE RING FOR ME FREE OF CHARGE! They didn't push back and defend their terrible work. They made it up to me in FULL! The next month I received my ring back in all of it's glory, crafted exquisitely and exactly how I envisioned it looking in real life!! I have incredible faith that this company will do whatever is necessary to make your dreams come true with whatever piece of jewelry you...
