I lived at this place for 6 months everything about it was less than ideal there were constant fights going on police were called multiple times homeless people wondering the apartment building to top it off I moved out a month and a half ago and I ask the property manager Monica if she know anything about my 1850$ deposit she texted back and said she would email the company she works for 2 days later I ask her if she was able to get any information she left me on read and didn’t respond so a week after I texted her I texted again and she says she will email them and ask she never emailed them the first time like she said she is extremely unprofessional sends me a text saying “deposits aren’t always returned within days” it hasn’t been days it’s been a month and a half she is extremely unprofessional/rude if I do not have my deposit back in the next 2 weeks I will contact the BBB/the company she works for it shouldn’t take this long for me to collect my own money back this place is a giant scam

Update!!!!! 2 more weeks of me asking where my deposit it I decided to give Monica the property manager a call she decided it would be okay to tell and berate me for several minutes and not let me say a single word I didn’t yell at her but for some reason it was okay for her to do so all I was trying to tell her was per California state law they have 21 days to return your deposit so why is she and who she works for breaking California state law. Renting here was the worst experience I had as a renter in my entire life. They scammed me by stealing money from my deposit which was returned to me 30 days after I left the property. Monica, the manager, is a very unpleasant and rude person to deal with. The building is a disaster, noisy neighbors, fights and shouting were a daily occurrence, parties on weekends. Sleeping here became almost impossible. I can even confirm that there was a neighbor who sold drugs on the property. On the ground floor there is a bar that opens until 1-2 in the morning. Their music makes the walls vibrate. When I entered my unit I found food in the refrigerator, it was evident that it had not been cleaned. It is my first bad review about this application and I write it so that no one else goes through the same thing again and is scammed by Mónica Cruz and Oceanic Enterprises. SCAM! Not only do they scam you out of money but they also generate FAKE positive opinions! Do you really think that whoever reads the opinions will not realize that after so many bad ratings, two three days ago there were 4 positive comments in a row? coincidence? hahaha a shame! Any decent person who has passed through this building knows that nothing positively said here is true! The company never communicated to take responsibility for MONICA's terrible attitude, or for the horrendous things that happen in this place! DO NOT RENT HERE!!!
