I work here.
I just want to clarify some things to hopefully make your dining experience more consistently pleasant.
As far as deliveries are concerned, if anyone has ever had a bad experience with their food being left on their doorstep, please, please, please make sure you did not click "yes" when asked if you would like a contactless delivery.
I used to wait around for people to open the door and ask them if they would like their food left on the floor for a contacless delivery, until customers complained that drivers would linger during supposedly contacless deliveries.
If you accidentally clicked "yes," the receipt will show it, and the driver will go off that. Again, please do not agree to it unless you want your food dropped off rather than handed to you.
I also see reviews where people mention the driver "running away." Again, that is because people have complained that drivers stick around when they are not wanted. Please understand that. Sometimes we have a ton of orders and are just trying to get back to the store so the next customer's order is not late.
That leads to my next point. At times deliveries can be late. That is because the amount of drivers needed is calculated by a computer system which then determines staffing levels. Surprise, surprise, it's not always accurate.
Now, when it comes to mistakes on orders, please call the store and let us know what happened as soon as possible. We are all human. Sometimes we are in a major rush, and mistakes happen. Please don't suffer in silence. Let us know, and we will try to turn that frown upside down with as little hassle to you as possible. This goes for both carryout and delivery orders.
Finally, I just want to take a moment to thank all of our loyal customers who tip. No matter the amount, it is appreciated. Some people are very generous and some give what little they can. Again, it is very appreciated. I do this job for you guys because otherwise I couldn't afford to work here!
Drivers get paid minimum wage, yet provide their own vehicle, insurance, and shoulder all car maintenance costs, including the costs of gas.
Think about that for a moment. Why would any rational person work a minimum wage job where they have to do all of the above as opposed to just working inside the store where they don't have to do that? The answer is tips.
If people didn't tip, then I would say about 80-90% of drivers would look for other jobs. If there was a shortage of drivers, then companies would have to pay drivers more in order to attract people, or worse, provide their own company vehicles, including insurance, and all accompanying maintenance costs. If companies have to pay higher wages or provide more help to the drivers, well hopefully you follow where I'm going, prices would be ramped up even higher, and the costs would be passed on to the consumer.
By the way, driving is not risk-free. I have been crashed into through no fault of my own while doing this job, and again, it's a minimum wage job.
Ultimately, tipping is optional, but again, I want to thank every single one of you guys who care enough to show your appreciation. You guys are awesome. If you are ever not satisfied, please provide feedback because, as you can see, some of us read it and actually want to satisfy the people who spend their hard earned money with us.
Thank you for reading. I hope you will all order...
Read moreCame to this location multiple times and ordered food in person and also through UberEats. This time when I ordered my food from this location it took almos an hour for the food to be delivered. When it got delivered it was very cold I had to go back myself and complain about because I only live two minutes away from this location and how in the world was my food cold I don’t know. But this is not the point why I am writing this review, when I got there and showed them how cold this food is and burned they took it in the back and said they will remake a fresh hot food. As soon as the young man took the food I heard this girl talking in Spanish asking what happened. He told her what happened and she proceeded to say “ Oh she always comes here and complains” first of all I have never came to complain because this food was always hot and warm and ready to eat but for her to be talking like this thinking I don’t speak Spanish it is disrespectful and bad costumer service. I also called today to speak to a manager and to explain what happened but looks like the manager didn’t care much also because I didn’t hear an apology from him until I said “ I’m confused, are you not going to apologize or say anything about it? “ and he said “ oh yes I will make sure this doesn’t happen again, I’m sorry” my question is: where is the costumer service manners? Did we all forget about that? Definitely not going to this place again. There is many other pizza locations. All I can say Pizza hut you lost a good...
Read moreThis place is the most unprofessional with a condescending and disrespectful approach to their customers. God forbid anything goes wrong here you won't see a dime back. I ordered two very undercooked and inedible doughy pizzas from these guys. All the toppings slid off and it was all and all a pretty awful and underwhelming experience. Being as how I don't ever order when he offered a store credit I declined. Chris is the store manager over there and when I told him I'd be leaving a strong review and contacting corporate about the way he handled the situation he laughed and hung up. Maybe don't hire horrible teens to run your business. Also, if you expect corporate level customer service don't order here. He and his team are joke and the pizza is garbage at best. Take your money and order from one of the 45 other far better pizza places. Or any Pizza Hut but this one. I'll be contacting my credit card company on this one. Good job guys, could have had a customer for life and instead you got one really pissed off PR rep who knows how to navigate social media and how google reviews work. Guess what, it's not...
