Sicilian-ish Cafe and Deli — Restaurant in San Diego

Best coffee I've had EVER, and best Italian Sandwiches too. Also somehow has the best caeser salad too.. Everything I've tried has really far exceeded my expectations.

I get the Spicy Italian sub or the Meatball sub at least twice a week here. It's worth it, the quality of the food here is incredible. It feels like a combination of imported high end ingredients with the care and precision of homemade preparation. The bakery items are also amazing if you have a sweet tooth, I promise you won't regret those either.

The only thing is that parking can be a little tricky, if you're resourceful or know the area it's not an issue at all. Just don't expect to park in front of the shop, you'll need to take a sidestreet if you are just stopping by. The owner Frank loves...

I stopped in for a small bite and was definitely beyond satisfied with the service and especially the food! I ordered the chicken pesto as a sub, and it did not disappoint.
