Tapas & Beers is an absolute gem in downtown San Diego! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm, welcoming atmosphere and stylish, cozy decor. The blend of French and Spanish cuisine makes this place truly unique, and every dish we tried was full of flavor and beautifully presented.
The tapas-style menu is perfect for sharing, and everything we ordered was delicious. The seafood paella was packed with fresh ingredients, the mushroom and brie toasts were rich and savory, and the brussels sprouts were perfectly roasted and seasoned. I also highly recommend the lobster bisque—it was creamy, flavorful, and comforting.
The drink selection is just as impressive. They offer a wide variety of local craft beers on tap, as well as a great selection of wines that pair wonderfully with the food.
Service was fantastic. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive throughout the evening, making the whole experience even better.

We dined here on a Monday late afternoon, we were greeted and seated promptly. Our server, Julie, was cordial and professional.
For starters I selected the Butternut Squash; great flavor of puree consistency. For main courses we selected to share the Prosciutto Flat Bread, the Warm Goat Cheese Salad, the Peach Burrata, and the Brussel Sprouts; all were well prepared, and tasty, great choices.
For desserts we chose the Cheesecake and the Crepe; all we can say, YUMMY. We will definitely patronize this...
