Opting for the signature a medium bowl I was delighted by the generous portions of sushi-grade tuna, salmon, and yellowtail, perfectly cubed and marinated in a tangy soy sauce. Each bite was a symphony of freshness, with the fish melting in my mouth and leaving a lingering umami taste that kept me coming back for more.
Highly recommend and major shout out to the Co-Owner Twan, who is as much quality of a person and pickle ball player as the poke food and experience he delivers to his...
Read moreVery expensive for less than decent quality. The shrimp in specific, avocado and vegetables that are added as sides etc, are mostly not fresh! The Avocado on my dish was almost black as if it has been there for a few days. Not to mention that the biggest issue I had with this place was the portion of serving the bowls. I ordered a medium and expected to get the amount I paid for but instead I was ripped off. I barely even had an inch of rice on my bowl and barely had enough sauce to even taste the product. I realized that the lady that helped me was stingy about serving! This happened at 4:00pm on Tuesday August 11th 2020. I don’t think I will be coming back here because I am being ripped off. I wish I could get a refund because I am putting my life at risk with eating somewhere where the stuff is not clean nor fresh. I’ve been to other poke places and by far this one is my least favorite. So people please don’t waste your time & money going...
Read moreI don’t even know where to start. Walking into Poke Co in Mission Valley felt like walking into a dumpster behind a fish market on a hot day. The air smelled like spoiled seafood and dirty mop water. It was so bad I literally had to cover my nose while ordering.
The staff? Miserable. Zero professionalism, zero friendliness. One of them looked like they just rolled out of bed and couldn’t be bothered to say a single word. Just pointed and stared like I was interrupting their break.
I made the mistake of ordering anyway. The fish looked slimy, the toppings were warm, and the whole bowl tasted off. Less than 4 hours later, I was curled up in pain with the worst stomach cramps and nausea I’ve ever experienced. I missed work the next day and had to live off Pedialyte and saltines for 48 hours.
This place is a biohazard. I wouldn’t let my dog eat here. Save yourself the trauma and avoid it...
