Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in San Dimas

My mom wanted to go for her birthday which should have been a wonderful dinner, was honestly one of the worst restaurants I've been to in a couple of years.

We were seated near the host station, call me old school and all but whatever happened to customer service?

-cold food. -waitress disappeared for 10 minutes( slow night plenty of staff) -employees huddled near our table to talk about personal problems, and the manager decided to join then a total of 5 workers. One employee was clocked out talking about who they like to duck! -another employee decided to pull his phone out and start checking his text. -all staff showing tattoos (this is a family restaurant)

And lastly, I mention my mom's Bday and we got a sloppy shot glass with a spoon of ice cream and whip cream, IT WASN'T FREE, THEY CHARGE YOU $2.79! They dropped it off on the table, not place just drop it! Started walking away and then oh yeah happy BDay, unbelievable.

There are better restaurants in this area. Don't waste...

I always have the most amazing experience at this Applebee’s San Dimas for decades! Yesterday, was the best that I simply felt this review was warranted. From the moment we walked in, the energy was warm and welcoming. Aurora at the bar was truly exceptional!! Her service was top-tier, fabulous, friendly, and professional. She made us feel right at home and elevated our entire experience. The rest of the staff were equally wonderful, attentive, kind, and clearly passionate about what they do.

The food? Absolutely delicious! Every bite was full of flavor, and the value for what you get is unbeatable. Whether you’re stopping by for a drink or staying for a full meal, this place delivers on every level. Highly recommend and definitely coming back when...

Racism is Alive and well when Claire or Clare is present... I understand every person is capable of having a bad day and deserves grace. When you realize its not a bad day and this person just doesn't take to "your kind" (Latinos) yet the minute an elder Caucasian woman, her daughter and grand walk through the door and are seated behind us her attitude was like night and day from what we received. Super short with our table and a stale faced while doing so , bubbly and rather friendly with the table behind us. Only reason I return is for the OG badAss servers. The young lady working the bouffant type hair is extremely gracious and welcoming along with the other Wonderful young lady that works there with the long dark pony tale...
