CRAZY EXPENSIVE NOW.
Haven't been here in about 2 months and thought hey been a while let's go grab a hotdog and a cheese burger here. Two months ago the price of a bacon cheeseburger was about 9.80 something which is already pushing it for expensive while fries were about 2-3 dollars for 1 serving.
Came in today and my choice of a bacon cheeseburger and some little fries would have been about $15-16 for 1 person... Gotta be kidding me. Not even In-n-out is that expensive and it tastes much better. Keep in mind the 11.49 price for the bacon cheeseburger isn't a combo and doesn't include fries. Not to mention it's quite a small bun compared to an In-n-out cheeseburger...
Everything is an absolute rip. So much that even the workers themselves told me how much it's driving business away simply because of the price increments. I've tasted gourmet burgers that are cheaper and better. As far as taste goes? The only "unique" thing here is the fact they fry everything in peanut oil...helps in flavor but only so much. Still don't understand how that warrants a $10+ price tag either way. Definitely NOT coming back ever. I don't care how much their costs are. A $15-25 dollar price tag for an individual meal for a FAST FOOD restaurant is...
Read moreThis place has gone down to the dump. I ordered a hamburger from here and was so disgusted by the time I left I didn’t even eat it. Reason being the cashier was pretending the temperature probe was a sword immaturely poking his co worker and touching every surface with it and right before they wrapped my burger he placed it in my hamburger to check the temperature. I almost puked but I didn’t want to be rude and demand a refund so I just got it and left, throwing it right in the trash once I got home. I haven’t visited a 5 guys in a while and the prices are ridiculous $10 for a little cheeseburger is outrageous for this place. The quality is not even close to what is use to be so that doesn’t explain the dramatic price increase. I should have walked out when I saw the place empty with...
Read moreThis was my first time eating at Five Guys. This outlet in San Dimas is a smaller store in the strip mall next to Costco. Burger is better than average and they let you customize toppings at your will. The small burger is a quarter pounder and quite filling if you loaded up on toppings. The fries were made from great potatoes from Idaho. They are cut a bit thicker than competitors and they fry them in peanut oil likely covered with starch to make them slightly crispy. The shake was definitely good. Main issue would be the price since they are charging prices for burgers at full service diners. ~$20 per order. This is double the price of fast food competition. There is plenty of parking at this location. Service and facilities are good and clean,...
