MUGS Coffee Roasters San Dimas — Restaurant in San Dimas

I was searching for a new coffee spot and had never heard of this spot...so to the new we go.

There was a short line and it went rather quickly so I appreciated the apparent expertise in this new place. There aren't a lot of places to sit so it doesn't seem to encourage sitting there with your laptop for hours like Stbus or Coffee Bn & Tleaf, but a quick pastry and latte are appropriate.

Ordered the popular Vanilla Cream Latte, as well as the Banana Horchata. I may have been sitting for 3 or 4 minutes, no longer, when I was called up. Alas, I'd ordered that Horchata hot, not iced.

Never fear.

The barista didn't skip a beat and immediately made a hot horchata (without me requesting it might I add) and all was well. That simple interaction is why I'll go out of my way to return, rather than hit the drive through place down the street.

I got home and did the sip taste with my wife...a clear difference. Their coffee was smooth and not overly sugared. Iced, hot, doesn't matter. Both beverages were pleasant on that palette...next time we'll order on their app and see how the points...

I had a really disappointing experience at Mugs in San Dimas. I’m a loyal customer I just happened to get the app since it’s new but it’s difficult to Customize. So I went to the shop asked the employee if she could help me which she said no very rudely. I felt like I was bothering her just because I asked a question. It felt horrible to be treated that way. When I felt she went straight to her phone so I felt like she didn’t want to help me because she wanted to go back on her phone.

I did speak with Ralph, the manager, and he told me he would follow up with me by email, but I never heard anything back. The lack of communication and customer service really left a bad impression. I had hoped for a better experience, but unfortunately, I left feeling dismissed and unappreciated. Because of that I will never go back. I have been going to Mugs coffee in Whittier, and got excited when I found out there is one closer to me. It is very convenient as it is in the same plaza as Costco. I decided to get my coffee before I go to Costco.

It is very modern, clean, and neat. There were a few tables to sit and hangout. Service was fast and servers were attentive. We ordered matcha latte, and cold brew cafe de olla, the matcha latte has the perfect sweetness for me, but I would be better if the matcha is a bit stronger. The cold brew cafe de olla is very strong and not too sweet that can totally keep me awake!
