I AM A 60 YR OLD DISABLED AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMAN. I USE A WHEELCHAIR AND WALKER.My FAMILY VISITED KFC on 5/29/24 ABOUT 3pm ..WE PURCHASED 3 CHIKEN POT PIES. THERE WAS NO CHICKEN BUT POTATOS AND CARROTS ONLY. I FOUND THIS TO BE DECEIVING AND BAD ADVERTISEMENT.
I CALLED BACK THE MANAGER SAID TO BRING IT BACK. WE WERE ALREADY ON THE FWY. SHE SHOULD HAVE OFFERED A FULL REFUND BASED ON NONE OF THE POT PIES HAD CHICKEN. THIS WAS INTENTIONAL. ITS BAD WHEN YOU CANT TRUST WHERE YOU BUY FOOD. THIS KFC SHOULD KNOW BETTER.THIS IS A VERY NICE COMMUNITYā¹ļø
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Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've lived in this area for almost 30 years I've eaten at this KFC a lot over the years anyway my roommate is 70 I'm 41 with minor Disabilities we are little slower than most but we eat like gentlemen civilized and dignified we walk in probably about 840 thinking we had until 10 pm I was excited to get the wings after being gone for a while and wedges anyway we ordered and we're almost done when the young man asked how much longer we'd be. It was just after 9pm anyway looking at my roommate who again is a senior was almost done with his chicken š I looked at the employee and said 5 minutes then this heavy set dude walks out (the manager ) I assume anyway he goes you need to leave now. My shock when he said that he said it's 9 pm we're closed id understand if id walked in at 9pm but we were there before that witch I tried to explain he went on this rant about not having anyone in the store after 9 and so on anyway this is senior discrimination and Disabled discrimination I'll be in touch...

Not only was the chicken hard and only fit for the garbage can, even the biscuits were hard, not fresh! It's mind-boggling how an employee serves this up to patrons. You would think a supervisor is watching what's going on. It really seems like they pass this garbage off to drive-thu customers, knowing that the odds are they'll just deal with it. Or, not make the long drive back. I have to think if the owner knew this was going on. They would have something to say about it. Or, they can dismiss it and ultimately lose good customers to Popeyes that's right next...
