Extremely poor customer service. We asked if the pizza we were interested in was spicy and were told “no, not at all.” Later, this many extremely spicy peppers were on a single slice of pizza (see photo).

The problem we have is that the server was exceptionally rude and far from professional. We didn’t ask for a refund; we asked for something we could eat. The response we got was being made fun of for not being able to enjoy a spicy pizza (that, again, we were told was not spicy), and there was absolutely no desire or action to help remedy the situation. “Just pick them off then. I can’t help you if you don’t like spicy food. Maybe don’t order something with peppers on it!” (See first paragraph about being told it was not spicy.)

Having worked in the food service industry, I understand that customers occasionally are not happy with what they are served. I also understand that it should be the priority of the establishment to remedy the situation and not tell the customer “we can’t just give away free product or give you a refund.” We never asked for a refund; we just...

April 2023: Want to update my review. Pizzas are still great 👍. First time dining inside in a while. But I wanted to rave about the salads. Ordered the Caesar salad and the mixed greens salad. Both were really good 👍. Keep up the great work on serving delicious pizza, salads and beer 🍻🍻!

February 2019: Tried the Bianca and it was very good. Not spicy nor salty, get this one when you want a clean tasting 🍕.

🍺 selection was fantastic. Tried an Alvarado pale ale that was juicy! 👍 And a Faction Winter IPA.

January 2019: Tried the East Coast 🍕 and it was delicious! 😀

Also came here for my brother's birthday and had a great time. My little 8 year old nieces loved the 🍕. They each ate 4 slices!

September 2018: Enjoyed a great dinner on Saturday night. Salad was very nicely done. Ingredients tasted fresh and was perfectly dressed.

Funghi 🍕 was a winner. Crust was light and good amount of ingredients on each piece.

🍺 selection has both delicious craft 🍺 on tap and in cans. If you are craving local craft beer, this is a good...

Popped in on a Thursday night. Nice playlist of mellow jazz in the background, nicely designed interior, super friendly staff that definitely went above and beyond to make it a good experience.

What I was really surprised with was just how good the pizza was.

Reminds me a little of a classic New York pie like a Joe’s, but with a little more sophistication in the toppings more like a Roberta’s or Paulie G’s, and a lot of attention to detail in the presentation (like neatly spaced pepperoni cups was honestly a nice touch). Good crust with some chew, a little floppy in the middle like a Neapolitan but still plenty of crisp texture and light char. The fact that it makes me think of those spots means it ranks pretty highly in my book.

I think good reviews are silly, but this is probably the best pie in the area and it...
