Excellent coffee shop with great service and friendly staff. I recommend supporting the local business. The only issue is the $11 breakfast bagel w/ thin portion. No reason to charge that much for a breakfast bagel. I know times are tough, but don't serve a thin portion, if you are charging $11 ($8.50 + $2.50 for meat) then make sure that bagel is...

Genuinely top tier service. I came in right before an appointment at UCSF medical center, and I got a great egg and cream cheese bagel — something off-the-menu I asked for and they happily obliged. The ladies working were incredibly polite. I rarely like to give reviews. This is a hidden gem. 5/5...

The cashier with blonde highlights won my prize for most unfriendly cashier in San Francisco. Croissant was dry and old. That's what I get for trying the small business across from the popular pastry place. Just wait in the line... it's probably worth it. Across the street....
