what a cluster-f. we came for breakfast and the whole thing just felt ... off.

so you walk into this place, and you just pick a seat. then apparently you were suppose to grab your table number and walk back towards the door where the cashier was and make your order and prepay.

we picked our seat, and someone brought us our utensils and napkins. we got up to go put our order in. when we got back from that, they had sat someone at our table? (not sure how they missed that as they literally just brought us our utensils and knew that we were sitting there) so that confused us and the person they sat at our table.

our drinks took a while even though the place wasn't that busy. (it was weird also, there were a lot of staff walking around doing things like putting stuff in fridges and "organizing" the place? but it also felt like they were understaffed at the same time since you had to go make your order yourself. - and they asked for tips when you pay - while no service was really offered?) our food came soon after our drinks and oh boy was it a disappointment.

I got the crab and avocado omelette ... it was 90% avocado that wasn't even properly cut/diced/sliced, it was just a hunk of avocado in the omelette. I had to search for the crab within the omelette. I opted for the "upgrade" fresh fruits ... that wasn't really fresh, nor worth the up-charge.

overall, save yourselves. this place was over priced, understaffed, with poor organization/management. Definitely would not recommend, and I would...

We were in there Jan 1st. The restaurant that we wanted to go had one hour and half waiting time, so we decided to try Eagle Cafe. We ordered lobster bisque soup and it was delicious. My son won’t eat everything but he finished whole soup. My husband ordered shrimp sandwich which he told me excellent, and I ordered garlic butter clam. I should admit that the taste was excellent, not every place makes it that delicious, but there were a lot of shelves without meat, which I don’t care much. I had total six of them, and two had stone in it. I told the waiter, “there is a stone on the clams”. He laughed and said, ‘You ate most of it’. How rude thing to say. I didn’t want to argue with him that not all of them has meat of it, that wasn’t my issue. My issue was I almost broke my tooth twice. Again, I told him that there was stone in the meat and he claimed that there were garlic. Still no apology from him. I showed him some broken clam shelves, he said there are shelves. Still no apology, then rudely he told me what I want him to do, bring more clam? Why do I want more clam where I couldn’t finish my plate because of the stones!!!! In that point, I was extremely angry. I said , I don’t want you to do anything. In the end, my husband didn’t tip him, but it is very sad that the taste of the food cancelled by very rude and bad service. I would never ever go...

Food was good, BUT SERVICE ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY SUCKED!!!! First off, we were seated in Tim Buk Too on the patio, completely isolated from the dining room, Secondly we got the RUDEST waiter, took 5+ minutes just to get a drink order, then he sent someone out to deliver our drinks- MESSED it up too, ordered a water and got a diet soda, then he sent yet ANOTHER person out to deliver our food and never once checked on us. We had to track him down for our bill then he wanted to charge me for the diet soda and told me you drank it you buy it. Needless to say he didn't receive a tip and NOW I checked my bank account AND THEY CHARGED ME TWICE!!! Absolutely RIDICULOUS! IF you so choose to go to this place, BEWARE! Pay cash and I would watch it closely! Oh and it gets better- tried calling the place- COMPLETELY RUDE AGAIN and told us to wait a full business day and call our bank to dispute it as FRAUD! THEY JUST CALLED THEMSELVES FRAUDS and they ALLOW THEIR EMPLOYEES TO FRAUD CUSTOMERS!!! WoW wow WOW! I can not believe this and the lack of customer service they have! LAST but NOT LEAST just for everyone's information the SERVER NAME on the receipt is:...

Perched along San Francisco's waterfront, Eagle Cafe is a hidden gem that delivers both exceptional food and stunning bay views. Their hearty breakfast offerings shine, perfectly complemented by one of the best Bloody Marys in the city – expertly spiced and generously garnished. The attentive staff creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like a regular from the moment you step in. What sets Eagle Cafe apart is its rich historical ambiance. The walls are adorned with fascinating photographs and memorabilia chronicling San Francisco's maritime heritage and naval history, making the dining experience both delicious and educational. As you enjoy your meal, floor-to-ceiling windows offer breathtaking views of the bay, making it an ideal spot to take in the city's iconic waterfront scenery. Whether you're a local or visitor, Eagle Cafe offers an authentic slice of San Francisco's culinary and cultural heritage. It's more than just a restaurant – it's a dining experience that shouldn't be missed.
