I was recently tasked with selecting the locations for a bar crawl with a small group of friends. Knowing that my friends were of a particular crowd, I wanted to take them to places with atmosphere, places that did more than just supply alcohol, but also provide a dramatic setting for the night's goings-on. I selected EZ5 as the grand finale to the night. Not one for the snobbish, EZ5 feels like an acid trip, saturated with gleeful sleaze. There are weird blue bubble machines inhabited by plastic lion fish, zebra printed walls, and neon lights everywhere. For some reason, there are dj lights on at all times. The bartenders can be snarky and impatient, which, far from being a detraction, adds to the thrilling tension of the bar.
