Whoever that was working that night when I came in, is a the real MVP. Food was amazing. I waited a while, but everything fresh and great. It was like they made amazing delight crafting my food. I went for the Philly Cheesesteak, which mannnn after I bit into that, I was in heaven. I was probably starving too, I truly appreciate they are open late night, as everything around closes early. So after heading back to the hotel near by, and a long day of adventures this food spot is a hidden gem.
I tried the milkshake out of curiosity as well, it’s on the light side, not fluffy and over done, it was $6.95 I think, I figured why not. But as well, I didn’t want crazy sugar, so it didn’t its job. I recommend just adding a bit more ice so it can be much colder when the customers get it.
I also had the fish and fries. Now the fries was hot and steamy, I was proud they did the fries right, as a “Professional Fries Connoisseur” I definitely approve.
I would definitely recommend and come back. Philly Cheesesteak and Fries are your best bet, they do have Philly Cheese and Chicken, maybe next time I try. Oh yea, the they sauced me up, they ensure I had all the sauces and ketchup I could need.
Great experience...
Read moreOrdered food from here for the first time last night. Got the Grilled Chicken sandwich & fries. The Grilled Chicken Sandwich was really Top Notch: Freshly grilled, my choice of bun (I chose wheat), with pesto, Provolone, roasted red peppers, lettuce, tomato, onions... It was delicious! I would definitely order it again! The FRIES, though... What happened? They were a soggy disappointment! They felt like they should have been cooked longer. And packed in a container with some sort of air escape. I don't live far, and by the time I got home with these, they were just WET from all the humidity in that box. Not nice. Not nice at all. Maybe they should put the fries in a regular paper bag? That might help with the humidity. I WILL be ordering from here again, as the grilled chicken sandwich is THAT good. But I will have to try a different side next time. I do hope they fix...
Read moreIf you didn't see the tiny halal symbol walking in then, heads up, their "bacon" is turkey bacon (which they never specify) and is more akin to ham, which is pretty disappointing because there's no crisp. I ordered the pear and brie burger and it came with what seemed like canned pears and tasteless brie, and there was no texture variety with the brioche buns that went soggy nearly immediately. The place just doesn't know what gourmet is. It's likely the owner/chef/cooks have never actually tasted what's out there. A consulting chef could redo the menu and hire cooks that can execute. Otherwise it's just always a disappointment. They have a fire grill, so that’s nice, but calling it gourmet is a joke. Stick with a plain cheese burger and you might be happy there, if you're willing to pay $14 before tip, without...
