Joyride Pizza, Union St. — Restaurant in San Francisco

I noticed this new location open up recently and as a lover of Joyride, I was excited. Pizza is great, as usual - to those who are new, it’s square pie style with many options (you can get personal-sized or bigger). I see they’re trying something new here and have an interesting selection of natural wines, as well. A cozy, fun, tastefully-designed, candlelit-atmosphere to sit down and enjoy pizza & wine. The staff are kind and management seems passionate about what they’re doing. I was offered to try a wine while waiting for my to-go order — it was delicious! Very fresh, juicy, somewhat tart and cherry forward (Litrozzo). I was told they’re working with Italian wineries to source their unique selections. I want to come back and soak it in, in-person next time....

Gluten free deep dish pizza?!? They have an AMAZING gluten free crust that comes as a personal or full sized pizza and you can get any of the standard or custom toppings on it. They also offer many toppings as dairy free. I’m celiac and it’s the first time I’ve had deep dish pizza in years. I ordered a full pizza for myself and it made great leftovers too.

The service/management was so helpful in explaining their options and combinations. The tables and decor was great. An easy place to catch up for brunch without reservations.

Love coming here for a morning latte and pastry. The Black sesame mochi muffin is my favorite. The staff is the reason I come here multiple times a week. There are lots of places to get a latte in the area but the staff here is always in a good mood and the music is a good vibe. It's a great energy to start your day.
