First visit, only tried the babaganoush and hummus. Both were very solid, flavor was slightly different than what I am used to but excellent ingredients including the olive oil and Tahini.

I will need to try rest of the menu.

Second visit I ordered the Shish Taouk plate. Every element of the dish was excellent. Including the side sauces, very nice chilly and the best Toum (garlic) I have ever had

There is a lot of care and attention to details in the kitchen, very authentic

3rd visit, I am definitely sold, this time it was larger to go order

Had the Meat combo with Lamb and ordered a side of Lamb chop. The beef and both lamb preparation were excellent, better than the chicken, very well seasoned

Hummus Schwarama chicken was a very nice combination, I also preferred that hummus vs the ones that come with the Meat plates, which is more similar to the Bayrooti appetizer

I went on a weekday afternoon, so the waiter might be a family member asked to help out. He looked no more than 25 years old and I could tell tending tables was not the first item on his plan, which I totally get. The food was ok. I got a Dal makhani. According to the menu, it was “tomato-based”, but it turned out to be brownish green sauce without a trace of tomato flavor. I asked the waiter and he looked confused himself. The dish was not bad, but not what I expected. The sauce is on the salty side, so mixing it with garlic naan made the overall taste too salty. So if you are like me, who likes flavors other than salty, don’t get this curry with another...

I'm so happy to have visited this place today. It was the first time I discovered it by chance. I can't describe how happy I was. The first thing that caught my attention was the cleanliness. It's the first time I've visited a place in San Francisco that's that clean, especially the restroom. You feel like the food is clean. The place is amazing, and the staff there are the most wonderful. They are extremely classy and welcoming.
