While it is a budget friendly sushi place, we came across some less appealing aspects of the restaurant. We ordered 3 Sushi and 1 lunch box, the sushi were tasty and filling however we found a few fish bones in one of the rolls that had salmon slices on top, however we really enjoyed the eel ones i believe were called "four season roll", we also got the salmon crunch roll(?) and rainbow roll. these were satisfying. As for the lunchbox, we got the chicken teriyaki one, it arrived with chicken teriyaki over white rice, 4 california roll sushi and a miso soup. The chicken was tasteless and we had a hard time finishing the rice with three people, the miso soup was good.
Moreover, we chose to dine in and the door was jammed(?) and we had to ask for assistance to come in, also everything we ordered arrived in plastic boxes and the chopsticks were wooden ones which wasn't a big issue for us but it can be for others. The service was alright and the food arrived fast, but there are no bathrooms and since it's in a pretty good looking empty mall-y area(?), we had to basically go hunt down the bathrooms. It is a beautiful area near the ferry building that we enjoyed exploring after our...
Read moreWorst Japanese food in the city. I don't know if they are just trying to take advantage of tourist that aren't acquainted with Japanese food but the quality of the food is not up to par with the area or any area.
A few months ago on my lunch break, I decided to try the lunch bento box. The chicken looked and tasted as if it was twice cooked and sat under the sun, the California roll tasted and smelled fishy and the tempura was obviously from a package. Wanting to give them the benefit of a second try, today, I once again ordered the deluxe lunch bento box. Once again, the same results. I don't know if it's due to lack of customers during the pandemic, it seems as if they are selling food orders that are just sitting around hoping to one...
Read moreMy experience with visiting Sushi Kinta was very satisfying. The Sushi Kinta dining room area was closed during my visit. I did notice that the seating area is small offering 5 tables with 2 seating. There is a window counter for eating but this is also limited to 4 chairs. My favorite items are the vegetable rolls and California rolls. The owners are generous with portions and offer a free cup of Miso soup on each order. I thought it was interesting that the diner offers canned Olong tea and canned Green Tea. I believe the Sushi diner is busy because the food is so fresh and quickly made. I highly...
