I randomly stumbled across this little tucked-away trailer tonight and promptly approached the window at the urging of my growling stomach. Holy tortilla! This burrito just instantly earned a spot on my top 10 burritos in SF list (and believe me I've put years of research into my list).
You wouldn't expect a little trailer to be stocked with all the different tortilla flavors (spinach, tomato, etc), but this little mobile unit is gourmet all the way! I had a super grilled chicken burrito on spinach tortilla. Unlike many taco trucks, the burrito is not greasy at all. The grilled chicken is among the best I've ever tasted wrapped inside a tortilla. The guacamole and rice are up to par too. Best of all, the burrito is huge.
There are a few tables squeezed in the little slot next to the trailer if you don't mind the noise of the mega Van Ness and Mission intersection. I don't live too close, but I'm sure I'll be making the trek out here for more whenever I...
Read moreThe location is cute, but don't fall into the trap. As a lifelong resident of the Bay, this is the worst Mexican food I have personally experienced. The 'spicy chicken' is the most tasteless meat I've ever consumed, the 'super nachos' had about a spoonful of beans, a spoonful of watery sour cream, and less than a spoonful of guac.
One high point is that the tomatoes in the pico de gallo taste real and fresh. The bad news is that I ordered my burrito without pico de gallo, and the burrito I received had pico de gallo as the majority ingredient. The tortilla was as bland as they come, burrito limp, rice overcooked, and flavor nonexistent.
Seriously, just walk a couple blocks south into the mission, to Taqueria Reina at 11th & Howard, or anywhere else. Do not eat here; you...
Read moreI went to order on the taqueria cazadores website a cheeseburger. Right after I entered my payment information, it started spinning. after two minutes, it generated an error screen saying this site is unavailable. I checked my bank account and nothing had been debited so, i decided to walk over and order my burger. I got a notification from chase about 5 minutes later that me account balance was only $9.00. I paid for a burger in person and the website charged me as well. The burger i wanted came up to 14.65 with tax. the burger I paid for in person was $11.98 because the guy I asked for a cheeseburger put hamburger instead. So, in total about $26 spent and I did not get my cheeseburger. Chase told me the balance must post first before they can reverse it....
