If I could give zero stars, I would. We work in hospitality, so we’re incredibly patient and understanding—but this experience was beyond unacceptable. We waited over 1.5 hours just for Bloody Marys and 2 hours for our food, which arrived incomplete and with several mistakes, including a completely wrong order. One of our friends is vegetarian and specifically asked for an omelet without meat—the server literally came to the table and dug through the omelet in front of us to check if there was meat in it. It was so absurd we honestly thought we were being pranked.
We had ordered lattes at the very beginning and didn’t even get them until after we had finished eating. The server didn’t know how to use the POS system, and not once did he offer to comp anything—we had to ask, and even then, it was a weird, reluctant process. He said, “I wish I could do more,” but then actually did more, so clearly he could have from the start. He also overshared personal trauma and made inappropriate comments to one of our friends, which made everyone extremely uncomfortable.
To be fair, the food was okay—but the service was absolutely atrocious. This was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had, and that’s saying a lot coming from people who work in the industry. Avoid this place unless you’re prepared for a long, chaotic, and...
Read morethis restaurant experience was an utter disaster. The management's indifference to their diners' plight was palpable as the rain started to pour down during our outdoor meal. Instead of offering assistance with our dishes and drinks, the manager and waitstaff stood idly by, smugly holding the door open as we trudged back and forth in embarrassment to bring food in.
To add insult to injury, the overpriced house Prosecco turned out to be nothing more than cheap, low-grade swill. Despite our complaints, the staff refused to make amends and insisted that we pay the full amount.
The vegan tacos were a disaster - sour, tangy, and dripping with an excessive amount of lemon juice. At a hefty price tag of $30, it was nothing more than an overwhelming salad drenched in citrus.
The rice was no better, with a greasy, oily sheen coating the entire dish. The burger was the only passable item on the menu, but even then, the patty was flavorless and unremarkable. The only saving grace was the chipotle sauce, but at a cost of $30, it hardly seemed worth it.
Overall, this restaurant was a complete disappointment. The lack of service and indifference of the staff, combined with the subpar food, made for a miserable dining experience. Steer clear of this establishment if you value your taste...
Read moreWhen you find a place to eat with vegan options in the land of lechon and morcilla you get excited. Unfortunately this wasn't the place. The service was decent. And I'm glad she let us know that it was going to take awhile because the kitchen is slow.. Not sure why it would be slow... We must have been the last order cause we got there after 9pm. I ordered the spicy tacos and a frozen mojito. That mojito was the best one I've had on the island. The tacos were awful. First of all the ground vegan meat was an awful concept... Made by someone who really doesn't care about vegan flavors. I doubt they took the time to evaluate the many options on vegan taco meat alternatives because there are so many directions they could have gone that would have been 1000X more palatable. This mash had an awful weird baby food texture with chucks of the unknown but it was plant based. My friend had the Portobello veggie burger and was not impressed. With drinks and an appetizer we spent $100... This was not a $100 dinner at all. And for these prices the server should have been more educated about the menu, ingredients and recommendations. Professional training and better management could make this...
