AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID
Avoid at all costs. While the staff is friendly enough, it is not adequate.
Electricity was not available, so they were forced to take a cell phone picture of 1 credit card and 1 debit card, and for some reason my cards would not allow me to withdraw cash from the ATM. I informed the clerk I would prefer to pay with my Amex credit card, but instead he charges my debit card TWICE. I am having a difficult time receiving my refund, because they say they cannot find an issue.. My bill was $222, however $444 was taken out.
The rooms are old, the shower head pressure is weak, and the shower is a pipe with only one temperature setting.
No iron or ironing board available.
Clerks are constantly away from desk, so you need to call them on an intercom system they have at the front desk for them to come down from whatever office they confine themselves in.
Air condition functions poorly. I stayed for 2 nights... then went to a nicer, and cheaper Airbnb in the same location. Do yourself a favor, avoid this place and just find an Airbnb beachside. I may be out an extra $222 due to this hotels inadequate payment system, and lack of empathy.
They made me a flimsy key, no key card entry at this place, and the key broke in the key port in the door. Did not use excessive force, it simply broke when i tried to turn the key in the open position.
Mosquitos were in the room.
I have called the gentleman, while very polite, 2 times. The first time he said they did not make a mistake. So I called THE SAME individual back around 11pm to let him know I checked my bank account, and that there are indeed 2 charges. his response was, that the front desk is closed. Please note, this individual works the front desk, but refused to help and told me to call back from the hours of 9am to 3pm.
Bottom line, it's a racket. I should have never even given them my Debit card, and just left 2 credit cards for them to take a picture with.

Read moreThis hotel was pretty terrible. We saw a cockroach while checking in, after our card was already charged for the room. The man checking us in took 20 minutes to prep the room- at least I guess that is what he was doing he basically mumbled something then walked away for 20 minutes then came down to walk us up to the room. We were put on the third floor and this hotel does not have an elevator. Went up to the room and there was a terrible, strong, perfume/air freshener smell that did not go away. I would be careful if you are sensitive to smells. The toilet wouldn’t flush, the chain fell off the handle and the man fixed it but it happened again. No toilet paper allowed in the toilet. The bathroom and shower were extremely small, the shower head was so short. The tiles were stained, mirror was grey and old. The towels were torn. We had two towels, no washcloth, and they knew there were four of us in the room. Air conditioner (window unit) was loud while constantly running. No way to open the window to get the smell out of the room, my hair still smells like it a day later. Sheets and bed were thin and uncomfortable. Please be informed of all this before reserving a room, I wish...
Read moreHad a very poor experience at this unclean and unsanitary inn - was only able to handle it for one night. The price may be good, but I highly advise you to invest a little more money and stay at a more modern and clean hotel. The online pictures of this hotel are not accurate. The floors were dirty, long hairs everywhere, you can feel every spring in the mattress, the sheets were stained and felt like paper, I’m guessing the place hasn’t been updated in decades, and the swarm of ants was the last straw. I’m embarrassed to even admit I stayed here, but I think it’s important to warn travelers. When I alerted the manager of the ant infestation he agreed to give me a refund, but sent housekeeping to my room who sprayed ant spray and cleaned it up. Then the manager came into my room and said that because he didn’t see ants, he changed his mind and refused to refund my money. This place is not representative of the kind and courteous Puerto Rican community -...
