Puebla - Comida Mexicana y Cantina — Restaurant in San Juan

This place was pretty underwhelming unfortunately. We came on a Saturday during lunch and it was just us and one or two other tables. The overall vibe of the place was okay, but nothing too great. The service was okay as well. We ordered the Elotes, guacamole, carnitas tacos and carne asada tacos. The elote was the best dish, it was an ear of corn, with some seasoning and a side of sauce. The sauce was flavorful and slightly spicy, we enjoyed this dish but it was on the smaller side. The guacamole was disappointing. It was very bland, didn’t taste like it have salt or lime in it. The tacos were very bland too, they just overall lacked flavor. We found ourselves adding salt to all the food as well as adding the sauce that came with the corn. For the price, we were hoping for better, but I cannot recommend this place...

I went here to dine last nite with my mom. The food wasn't bad, but the customer service by the waitress was horrible. I hate to say this, but I believe the neglect in service was racially motivated due to witnessing her service another table with optimum care and a white man at that table turning around to mock us. I then asked for the bill and the waitress made a very condescending comment about tipping. I'm Afro Boricua and I love my island, but incidents like this are an embarrassment and lead outsiders to believe that my people are willful participants to antiquated ignorance. It also provokes violence. A mother had to convince her son to not assault someone last night. It was a horrible experience. DONT GO HERE IF...

I dont take pleasure in writing bad reviews, especially when times are hard.

Service here is not good and the food isnt great either.

35 min AFTER our appetizers arrived the entrees finally came, but missing things we asked for.

Two other tables that sat down wayyyyy after us got all their food suggesting chaos behind the scenes.

Margaritas are prepared not at the bar but in the kitchen suggesting cheap sour mix and bottom shelf tequilas but what else can you expect for $5

This is miraMar which is considered bougie so this place is kinda failing.
