Selfies is a little piece of Spain in San Juan. The tapas are authentically Spanish, with the croquettes being my absolute favorite—whether it’s the ham, codfish, or a surprise off-menu specialty, their quality is truly exceptional. The wine selection is great, with options for every taste and budget. The staff is very friendly and diligent. The place is mostly full of smiles and laughter, which adds charm to the vibe. I like to visit often and have been more than pleased with every experience. It's a great after-work meet up spot for drinks and small plates. 🍷✨🍷 P.S. It gets really crowded every evening from Thursday to Friday, so there's a high probability you may have to join a waiting list (of 45min-1hr) if you arrive past 5pm. However, it's totally worth the wait. There are a few other (walking-distance) places you can go hang out around the area in the mean time.

This restaurant is by FAR the best restaurant I have found in Puerto Rico after over 5 years of living here. Sure you can go to 1919 and pay $300+ for 2, but it is a completely different atmosphere. I have eaten here countless times and the food has ALWAYS been spot on and very consistent. The wait staff are AWESOME! Very friendly and very attentive to the tables. The food is excellent and very diverse. As you can see I have reviewed MANY places from around the world and this is my go to spot in Puerto Rico. The only bad experience I ever have is when they are too busy and we can’t get in. Highly recommend this gem.

El mejor bar español de todo Puerto Rico. Me encanta, soy española así que hablo con conocimiento de causa. Es súper español: las tapas, la terraza, la cerveza, el gin tonic, el vino... TODO. Lo único malo es que está tan de moda que es difícil conseguir sitio vayas a la hora que vayas. Luego te ponen en una lista de espera y las últimas veces observé que un grupo llegaba y se sentaba y no respetaba la lista de espera. Y los dejaron ahí. A mí me dieron unos taburetes muy incómodos altos que pedí que me cambiaran cuando vi que se liberaban sillas bajas con espaldar pero me dijeron que no que ya estaban reservadas, cuando eso no es cierto, uno no reserva "silla" reserva mesa, y si es mesa para dos, bien puede ser el barril con las sillas altas. En definitiva creo que deben darle prioridad a quienes estamos ya allí y además quienes somos clientes habituales. Ya no estoy volviendo porque me da pereza el tema de que no haya sitio. Sufro de problemas lumbares y no puedo estar en taburete alto. Por lo demás todo súper bien, el personal es divino y las tapas son excelentes y vienen rápido. Esta última vez pedimos una crema catalana y bebimos cervezas.

We ate here and had appetizers. I asked for fries, but with the language barrier, we ended up with home fries with hot sauce. We got the issue corrected and waitress brought the thin fries. We ordered sausage that we did not like, but never mentioned it to the server. The serve and manager would not fix the issue on the fries and charged us for both. The manager was so rude to me. Do not recommend unless you know their menu and PR food. We tried to explain to the manager what happened but she became very nasty. First restaurant after living in PR for over 2 years, that we had a restaurant not make us...
