While exploring Sanford for a walk, my husband and I stumbled upon a delightful spot called Henry’s Depot. It’s a marketplace filled with various restaurants and bars, and inside, we discovered Gateway City Coffee Company—a charming little coffee shop that became the highlight of our day.

The atmosphere inside Henry’s Depot is both inviting and comfortable, with the added bonus of air conditioning, which was much appreciated on a hot day. We decided to try some drinks from Gateway City Coffee Company; my husband went for the caramel iced coffee, and I chose a lemon ginger tea. Both were fantastic! I was particularly impressed with the variety of options, including sugar-free caramel sauce and interesting brewed teas like a hibiscus with real raspberries.

After grabbing our drinks, we found ourselves a spot on the covered outdoor patio. It was incredibly relaxing to lounge there, enjoying our beverages with the fans keeping us cool and some light music playing in the background. The ambiance was just perfect for a laid-back afternoon.

As a fun bonus, my husband couldn’t resist trying a Spamasouvi from a Hawaiian restaurant right across from the coffee shop. It added to the overall enjoyable experience of discovering new tastes in a unique setting.

I cannot say enough about how amazing Gateway City Coffee Co. is! My boys had a strawberry banana smoothie and a Passion fruit smoothie and I had an iced Dulce de leche.
