Alicia's Tortilleria — Restaurant in Santa Fe

One of the perks of DoorDash is getting to try different places I never would’ve known about. I saw Alicia’s Tortilleria was recently added. After cross referencing between Google and DoorDash reviews, I decided to give it a shot and it’s probably one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life time. What a little fine gem Santa Fe has been hiding from me.

The spring salad was so delicious, refreshingly crisp, and fresh appetizer I started off with. It comes with a tasty ranch dressing. It was a generous portion of greens without being wilted or brown.

The Caldo de Res beef stew is the essential New Mexican comfort food dish. It warmed my heart because it tasted just like my grandmas. You know it’s perfect when you don’t need any salt or pepper, you just enjoy as is. The fresh corn tortillas that come with it were delectable.

I’ve been eating here for years, I love this place the tortillas and tamales are some of the best in town... however the past two time I’ve eaten here I have been very disappointed in the food specifically the burritos.... the last time I ordered a beef burrito it came out literally cold! Okay I’ll forgive them for that... today I order a number 9 Chicken burrito it was also cold, plain chicken inside with some shredded up lettuce and pico de Gallo it literally feel apart in my hands no bueno and it had absolutely I mean Zero flavor....I threw it away. I DO NOT recommend this place to purchase tortillas! I own a business and was purchasing 15-20dozen a week from them. Today, I asked the owner if I could please have my tortillas made fresh because they were hard and falling apart last week. I was told, "I don't have time to talk to you because I'm busy. We make our tortillas fresh everyday. If you don't like them, buy them from somewhere else!" WTHeck?!? What kind of business is that?! Poor customer service and horrible management is what that is! You lost our business for...
