Bang Bite Filling Station — Restaurant in Santa Fe

We attempted to hire this food truck for Our wedding over a year in advance, signed a contract and gave a deposit of over $1,000. 3 months before our wedding Enrique called to cancel claiming he was short staffed and would not be able to cater our wedding. We were very upset and stressed but tried to give Him the benefit of the doubt and remained understanding since COVID-19 has caused many staffing issues. The only thing we wanted was our initial deposit back. Initially he acted accommodating and said he would give us our money back right wash. However, After much back and forth he claimed to have issues with square and “couldn’t issue a refund back to our credit card”. Then he claimed he would send a check for our initial deposit assuring us it was in the mail. Weeks went by and we never received our refund and he has since gone radio silent and has not responded to any of our attempted communication since. We have had to contact our legal representatives as a result and this entire situation has added so much additional stress on top of an already stressful situation. Enrique and his business practices are unreliable and untrustworthy. We have been owed our refund for over 2 months and it has been excuse after excuse and promise after promise with no delivery. I write this to inform the public and to think twice before even considering booking this business. I've had a few different items from Bang Bite and each of them has been delicious. Without a doubt, my favorite was the Bite Burger (chile blend, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, jalapeño mayo), which was a total explosion of flavor.

The staff have been friendly each time, and my orders have been correct. I appreciate how they give you a buzzer when you place your order so you'll know when it's ready, even if you're not within hearing distance of the food truck.

I docked one star for value. The food is very good, but, in my opinion, the burgers are much too small for the prices...

Not only was the Green Chile burger absolutely delicious, but it was cooked as ordered (why it's so hard to get a legit med-rare in a burger is beyond me), the fries were cooked perfectly, and maybe most importantly for us, the fellow I ordered from understood that our timeline was a wildcard with a toddler on the brink of a meltdown. He did what he could to have our burgers ready to go amazingly fast -thank you!!!! We would absolutely recommend this spot, and will put it on our must-do list for next time...
