I recently had the pleasure of dining at Café Pasqual's in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and I must say, it has become my absolute favorite restaurant in the area. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was captivated by the warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.

The menu at Café Pasqual's is a culinary journey that celebrates the vibrant flavors of Santa Fe. The use of fresh, locally sourced ingredients is evident in every dish, showcasing a commitment to quality and a connection to the community. The diverse menu caters to various preferences, making it a perfect destination for both adventurous foodies and those seeking comfort in familiar flavors.

I had the pleasure of sampling a variety of dishes, each a testament to the chef's skill and creativity. The flavors were nothing short of extraordinary, with each bite a harmonious blend of textures and tastes. Whether you're a fan of Southwestern cuisine or just a lover of exceptional food, Café Pasqual's menu offers a delightful array of choices that will leave your taste buds singing.

The service at Café Pasqual's is exemplary. The staff is not only knowledgeable about the menu but also passionate about ensuring that every guest has a memorable dining experience. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality elevate the overall ambiance, making you feel like an honored guest rather than just a customer.

The restaurant's commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly practices is commendable. It's refreshing to see a dining establishment that not only cares about the quality of its food but also strives to make a positive impact on the environment.

In addition to the fantastic food and service, the charming décor and art adorning the walls create an atmosphere that is both eclectic and cozy. Whether you're enjoying a solo meal at the bar or savoring the experience with friends and family, Café Pasqual's provides the perfect backdrop for a memorable dining occasion.

In conclusion, if you find yourself in Santa Fe and have a penchant for exceptional cuisine, Café Pasqual's is an absolute must-visit. It has undoubtedly earned its place as my favorite restaurant in the area, and I look forward to returning to indulge in more culinary delights. Kudos to the entire team at Café Pasqual's for creating a dining oasis that is as enchanting as it...

GREAT food, but other issues....

We've eaten here many times, both by ourselves and we bring out of towners here. Great and cozy little space with REALLY terrific food. Definitely better (by a mile) than many of the other downtown spots that people will often recommend. We've tried lots of the menu - never had anything that was less than delicious.

Time can be difficult, tho, so brace for that.

Last time we went, we had a reservation for 730 for two people. Got there at 720 and weren't seated until about 755. This is unfortunately standard here. Always a pretty substantial wait, regardless of reservation. We watched another couple who also had to wait a good while in spite of also having a reservation. No apologies or explanations to either of us.

But we didn't complain. It's a small place. There were one or two large parties present, which always hits the staff hard. We had nowhere to be afterwards, so no biggie.

Once we were seated, we waited a long time to even get a drink order in, longer still to order food. Then at least 3 times during the meal when one of us set our fork down there was immediately a voice over my shoulder asking "are you finished? Can I take your plate?" To be clear: we were not taking a long time. Just eating our food at a normal pace. This started happening like 10 minutes after we got our food. Same thing happened with dessert. As soon as I put my spoon down, there was a hand in front of me to take the plate and replace it with the bill. Jeez.

The delay in seating would've been fine, but we didn't like that they rushed us to get out on top of that. Especially given that it's pretty darn pricey and we ordered drinks and dessert.

Will still go again for the delicious food but hoping for a better...

As a a global diner with a penchant for diverse cuisine, I recently visited Cafe Pasqual's, a charming eatery with a pleasing array of vegetarian choices. I'd recommend this spot for any vegetarian looking for an exciting and healthful culinary journey.

The menu certainly demonstrates a thoughtful incorporation of fresh vegetables and varied textures into enticing vegetarian dishes. This attention to vegetarian options is greatly appreciated including the addition of proteins; it allows for a truly enjoyable experience, especially for those of us who lead a plant-based lifestyle.

However, when it comes to attending to their vegan diners, my experience was somewhat disjointed. Most vegan options amounted to the mere deletion of items such as eggs and dairy, with no innovative substitutions offered to bolster the culinary experience. As a food establishment in a rumbling and bustling Santa Fe city that embraces diversity, I expected a more innovative vegan culinary offering.

The ambience was cozy, making it an ideal spot for morning rendezvous. As for the cost, breakfast for two ended up being on the higher end total of $58, inclusive of tips. While I don't discount the value of fresh, quality, and well-prepared ingredients, this is worth considering for those on a tighter budget.

In conclusion, Cafe Pasqual's undoubtedly has much to offer: a warm atmosphere, good service, and commendable vegetarian options. However, some adjustments could be made for it to truly shine as a vegan-friendly establishment. Despite the slightly high-end pricing, I urge all veggie lovers to give Cafe...
