We came by on Christmas Eve just before noon and good thing we did because we were able to grab some of their delicious goods before they were sold out.
First up, this is a local coffee shop, it's awesome and that being said it means things take time. You're supporting a local business which means you chat and catch up and support your friend. We tried the signature biscochito latte, a breakfast bagel, breakfast burrito, and of course biscochitos. Everything was delicious and superb. The cafe itself is a nice size with lots of tables to size and enjoy your drink or food with friends. Everything was made to order and with one person churning out the goods it takes a moment, but you are rewarded with delicious treats. Highly recommended for locals and out of towners alike. If we had the chance we would come by again hands down!
I almost forgot we also bought some of their pinion roasted beans to take home with us, they also sell biscochitos by the dozen you so can bring the taste of New Mexico...

I really wish his establishment had been open until 5 because I wanted to keep my promise that I would return for his red chile biscochitos. Hands down, some of the best cookies I have ever eaten (beware that these are lard-based, usually, so if you're Vegan, they are not for you). I was impressed with green chile flavor and savored this and his original the whole day. Also, there is a cute area for about 6-8 people to enjoy his beverages aside of the counter. My husband very much appreciated his dark...
Read moreWe saw this super neat spot listed on a tv ad while getting ready to checkout of our hotel room about .5 miles up the road so thought we would check it out. Let me just say, 5 stars is just not enough for the service, coffee, food, and biscochitos. Oh boy, we should make time to talk about the biscochito ice cream but the coffee, and food too. Richard, introduced me to the very famous local pinon tree nut and even indulged me in a short history lesson on them while showing me a very premature tree right outside of this amazing little establishment. This is definitely a must! Thank you, Richard for your amazing hospitality. -The...
