My family loves going here because honestly where else can you get a drink and a hotdog for 1.50 or a sofa for 85cents? Even if you get pizza, you can feed your family on less than $10 bucks. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because they switched up their menu. They used to the have the best chocolate and vanilla swirl ice cream (and cheap) and it was always my treat when I needed a pick me up. However they took that away and added acai bowls and ice cream.
I like Acai bowls, but I really didn't like theirs. It used to be like a comfort food place (hotdogs, pizza, ice cream cones) and now it's just strange. The Acai bowls doesn't really fit with cheap pizza and hotdogs in my opinion.. I would of been happier if they left the ice cream and just added the Acai bowl or something. When we go now it's due to us running late and we need something quick and cheap rather than actually wanting to go there.
The people are always friendly though and the pizza slices are huge. Very generous portions for the pizza. 🍕 I would still recommend it! If you didn't have costco before then you don't know what you are missing out on which I'm sure will make it...
Read moreKind of an odd situation. People there are friendly but this threw me off. Figuring the lines would be shorter before closing. My mom and I set sail on this food venture. Since we always buy gas at coscto. We get there about 10 minutes before closing. Which we are mindful not to ask for anything to be made because it's at closing. And we understand it would keep the workers till lot later. So we asked if it was too late for a whole pizza. They looked at the clock and was hesitant. Which we knew its before closing. So we said no no. It's okay. Since it's right before closing. Can we just get slices to equal up to a normal priced pizza. Just so it's more convenient for them. And then they don't have to make or Parrish the old ones under the heat lamp. This said sure but we are going to charge you per slice.....like really? We are trying to be considerate. Before we can say no. They already had all the old burnt pizzas in the box. Left the fresh ones still under the heat lamp. Gosh knows for who. We felt bad and obligated to take the old heat lamped pizzas. Next time we will just order a new fresh pizza then...mom and I just trying to be...
Read moreThey got rid if the chocolate ice cream because it "wasn't popular" but I never saw anyone get just vanilla, only chocolate, swirl, and the berry one (which you had to get with vanilla, you didn't get a choice). I have a feeling that, just like all the other good stuff Costco has ditched over the years, they couldn't get the seller of the mix to go down any further on the price, and they wanted to get it cheaper and cheaper every year, so they just got rid of it and replaced it with something cheaper, acai bowls 🙄
Pizza is still a good deal and good for now.
Hotdogs are good, but the got rid of the Polish dogs too, and that's disappointing as well.
They keep trading things that are good, like the chocolate ice cream and polish dogs, for stuff that isn't, like the beef sandwiches and ham wraps or whatever it is. I'd get a pizza here since they are still pretty good, and a better price than anywhere else, but overall I've stopped liking the food court after all the changes.
P.S. Acai bowls, at least the ones they serve here, are NOT healthy for you,...
