My mother ,Aunt and I went for a walk on lido beach. We were starving and thought about trying this place for breakfast. When we walked in to see about a table it was super small and the guy at the register was somewhat nice. We waited outside for our name to be called. Ten minutes later we were called to a booth. We were amazed at the prices and the amount of food. My mom ordered a Belgian waffle plain. When it came up it had powered sugar and my mom told there person who delivered it that she wanted it plain. The man walked to the back and loudly said to the kitchen :" she doesn't know how to read a menu"! And we heard this. Then he walked by in a sarcastic tone :" Do you need sugar free syrup too"?! But like barked it . So incredibly rude ! I said to my mom we are leaving and tried to tell the gentleman at the cash register. I have never in my life been treated or seen someone treat my mother in such a poor manner. Never again will I set foot...

We enjoyed breakfast here on a recent Sunday morning and wouldn't hesitate to eat there again or recommend it to others.
It's not a big space, but there are booths and counter seating. We elected to sit at the counter and the stools are roomy and comfortable, with a foot bar that made sitting here nice for me. I'm not generally a fan of bar seating but here it was great. I enjoy watching food being prepared so it was kind of fun to be able to see some of the kitchen action even though you can't see the whole kitchen. They have the neatest toaster too. LOL
Service was quick and the food was great! I had the corned beef hash, which was fantastic and they cooked my over-medium eggs to perfection. The breakfast potatoes were also excellent. My partner had the two egg breakfast and was also a fan.
Even if St. Armands Circle isn't in your plans, you should still pop in...
Read moreDefinitely get the Bananas Foster French Toast! Word to the wise: stick to the features menu for the most part. The regular menu is fine but it also looks and tastes like something you'd get at Denny's or IHOP and when I stop in local spots like this, that's definitely not what I'm looking for.
We walked in and sat right down at 11:30 on a Saturday morning in October. When we left around noon, there was a substantial wait for tables so come early or late if you want to avoid the rush.
Service was nice and everyone there seemed to chip in and work together as we had 3 different people help us throughout the meal.
We had one entree each with small upcharges for different pancakes and cheese on the eggs and a side of corned beef hash. That set us back about $30. We'd skip the hash next time as it had small green peppers in it, which we weren't...
