Rosati's Pizza — Restaurant in Saratoga Township

Used to be our go-to deep dish place in Morris. We ordered the same deep dish pizza each month (my 3-year old requested Rosati's) and it was fantastic.

Last month, we ordered the usual but this time the deep dish pizza came with a crust which was so hard it cracked apart. Also, the pizza was completely devoid of the middle cheese filling layer which goes between the crust and the toppings. We called them up and they asked a whole bunch of questions and upon finding out we had ordered there before and this was our "usual" they remade the pizza. Remade pizza was fantastic - just the way it should be and we figured they made a mistake.

Yesterday, we ordered the usual again and surprise, it is exactly the same as the one last month. Crust is crunchy and the pizza is completely devoid of the middle cheese layer. I am assuming they have changed their recipe to cut costs. In any case, this was our last purchase from Rosati's in Morris and we are on the hunt for a better...

Just placed simple order...mozzarella sticks, combo for my husband, and chopped salad for me. First, the guy answering the phone didn't know the chopped salad had grilled chicken and had to check w someone...even though the menu says it. Asked what dressing I wanted, and named them all...after I said the dressing it comes with, sweet Italian. I also asked for one extra sweet Italian. Husband picks up order, and there is 3 ranch, which I don't watch, and it does not go w this salad. Basically not eating since we have no other dressing available. Haven't ordered from here in a long time, and this will deter me from ordering again. It's probably a minor thing, but that I specified the dressing multiple times...and it was completely wrong...is enough for us not to bother picking up food from...

I'm giving them three stars because of their accuracy, kindness and best pizza in town.

I ordered on slice and they accidentally put ingredients on the whole pizza instead of half but they fixed it when we called in. Their pizza is decent. Not my exact cup of tea but best in the area. The problem lies with the other food.

I ordered a salad and fettuccini chicken Alfredo. The salad was ok but the cheese tasted horrid. I know blue cheese is old but it tasted like a not good too old. Can't really describe it. The chicken Alfredo..all around..is not good at all. Sauce is flavorless and noodles over cooked. Way too much sauce vs noodle. Square too smokey flavored chicken bits mixed in. Just not that good.

I'll stick to ordering their pizza unless their...
