Honestly a very nice replacement to the previous boba place. It's hard to find good drink places that serve boba in this area, you usually would have to go to Chicago for that. I'm glad I don't have to drive an hour out just for boba anymore.
I would recommend the curry ramen for anyone who likes spicy food. Not the most spicy, but it's a pleasant spicy ramen that doesn't hurt your tongue so much that the taste is gone. As for other ramen, my friend said the crispy chicken ramen is pretty good.
As for drinks, get the traditional milk tea or the honeydew tea. One of the workers suggested that tea and it tasted like candy. Probably a good option if you have kids who wanna try a fruit tea.
Only thing I would say is that it would be cool to see more decor around the store, kinda like art work or one of those wish walls they have at Kyuramen in Chicago. Otherwise it's a pretty and clean restaurant. I hope to see this store grow more...
Read moreKyoto Ramen isn't just a place to grab a bowl of noodles; it's a wonderfully inviting experience. From the moment you walk in, the great atmosphere makes you feel right at home, and the friendly staff is genuinely welcoming and attentive. I was immediately drawn to the Spicy Beef Ramen, and it absolutely blew me away. The broth was rich, complex, and had the perfect kick of heat without being overwhelming, and the beef was incredibly tender. It was a perfectly crafted bowl of pure comfort. But what really sets Kyoto Ramen apart is their commitment to freshness—don't skip their drinks! The fresh smoothie was the perfect cool, bright contrast to the deeply savory ramen. It was a brilliant pairing that left me feeling energized and satisfied. If you’re looking for expertly made ramen served in a lovely setting by people who clearly care, this is the place. I can't...
Read moreSo I haven’t had the food here but it does look appetizing. I always come here for the boba and was very pleased to learn that they now have red bean! I tried it and it’s amazing and tasted exactly how I hoped it would. The service is decent and there’s one woman who was like the nicest, brightest and happiest I’ve seen there or anywhere honestly so that was a plus. Some of their workers seem a bit shy but it’s never a problem. I like how even tho we don’t dine in, someone personally brings us our drinks. I love the little faces on the lid wrapping. Not sure what it’s called. And then they usually match the straw colors to the drink which is a nice touch but it doesn’t always happen. Just saying. And lastly I want to say that the drinks here are so tasty and well made consistently and better than drinks I’ve gotten in Chinatown. I do wish they had...
