KFC — Restaurant in Schererville

Showed up about 30 minutes before closing. Didn't know what time they closed since everyone's hours are so sporadic right now. Anyway, go to place my order and she asks what two sides. I say mashed potatoes and coleslaw. She says sorry but we don't have any mashed potatoes. Ok, I order Mac and cheese, same thing, they don't have any. She then tells me what they have and I pick fries and coleslaw. I pull up and wait a good while behind the person in front of me because he has a big order. He even adds something on. I finally get up to pay and it's like 10 minutes before closing. I pay and the person behind the cashier says sorry we don't have any legs so I gave you all thighs is that ok cause we are closed. I didn't want 3 thighs, I barely wanted 2. I wanted a leg. I just shrug and say it's fine because what am I supposed to do? I already paid. So I get my food and drive home. Get home and lo and behold I have no fries and my coleslaw is under my chicken. I'm super disappointed at this point and I think well at least the soda will be good. Nice clean interior and seating area. Cashier Theresa was extremely polite and professional. The staff crew worked efficiently to provide timely service with good attitudes and with speed.

This is a busier location than other ones I've been to so I'm sure it's contributed to management and effective staff.

I ordered a big box 5 piece tenders that came with two sides and biscuit. Look in your local papers for coupons when you go. Any savings is a saving.

Chicken tenders were meaty. Biscuit was soft and fluffy. The sides were normal sides. The clerk up sold me on the apple pie nuggets which were delicious. It was a wise choice! 👌I purchased a 10 pack to share.

We stopped in this mother's day and ordered for a picnic we were going to. Had a small issue at the register and the manager Brandi came up to help very quickly. She was so amazing, what a sweet person, she solved our issue and went far and above to make sure we were satisfied. She wouldn't let us leave without first giving my wife a flower for mother's day. I can't say enough good things about this manager. I also am in management and I know the stress and work that is asked on them. Brandi went far above what was necessary to make sure we were satisfied. This world needs more people like her.
