Scapegoat Beer and Wine — Restaurant in Scottsdale

So glad we stopped in! Yesterday (1/16) my fiance and I decided to stop in for a drink while waiting for a table at a place down the street. Well, we never got the call that our table was ready, so we decided to stay at the Scape Goat, and we are so glad we did!

The meatballs were amazing! The fennel flavor with the sweet chili and slaw... unbelievable! Also had the ham and cheese melt sandwich; also very yummy.

We are a craft beer crowd, so I can't attest to the wine, but we enjoyed the beer selection. Plenty of variety for all.

My fiance and I were excited to try this place but were sincerely so disappointed when we walked in that we didn't stay. We came in and there was no sign indicating whether someone working there was aware of our presence. The only one we saw working was the sole bartender and he didn't even look up at us. We were confused whether to wait for someone to seat us or if we were supposed to just find somewhere ourselves. Music was playing way too loud for the kind of place this is advertised as. They allegedly have a good beer selection, but when I visited the beer menu was only posted on the wall and didn’t list specific beers (some were just listed as the brewery and style of beer, so it’s hard to know which actual one you’re drinking). The bartender didn’t know what the specific beers were without checking in the back. At least 12% of the beers that they had listed on the wall they didn’t even have available.
