Wow, I can't believe how poor the service was. It was my first time visiting and I was on a lunch break. The walk there alone was only 10 minutes but I knew I'd order quickly and be on my way. When I arrived I saw a lot of people in the building. I was seated by a nice girl that got me a quiet booth alone in the corner. I was eating alone but enjoyed that is get a comfortable booth to myself. I waited for at least 15 minutes before anyone acknowleged me at all. I was starting to think that I'd never be able to get my order in. Eventually I had a waitress come up to me and ask me for my drink order. Her mask was barely on her face so that I could see her nostrils and lips. But it was pretty clear that not many people working here were taking their mask wearing or social distancing seriously. I was in a rush so I told her that I was ready to make my food order as well. They had a happy hour going on so I ordered the burger from the Happy hour menu. I think she realized that I had been there for so long unacknowledged so she got the drink to me quickly. The food came about 8-10 min after and I had to scarf it down as quickly as I could so I could make my way back to work. The food was good but nothing to write home about. But maybe that was just because I had gone from being in a good mood to a bad mood. The waitress returned with my check and I promptly paid for my meal and was out the door. I made it back to work late because of how long my lunch took. It wasn't until I was at home after my work shift that I was able to look at the crumpled up receipt in my pocket to realize that I hadn't received the happy hour price. I was clearly there within their happy hour time frame on a weekday. But I was charged full price. I've walked by that place twice since my last visit and although I'm tempted to walk in for a quick bite when it looks slow, I remember my experience and choose somewhere...
Read moreRacist area, racist staff. I went the first time last year with some friends, four of us visiting Arizona (black and Hispanic), and instantly we were given dirty looks by all the waitress and host. My brother said I was overthinking. We asked for a table close to outside because the place was basically empty but they instead of us in the corner away from everyone saying no more seats available, which was alive because if it gave white customers those seats instead. We waited 10 minutes for water and 15 minutes for a menu and dirty looks so we left. I honestly forgot about the experience until I went recently again and it was deja vu. The same thing happened with more dirty looks. This time there was a lot of people none of any color and we were sat in the same seat in the back, same treatment. My brother again thought I was overthinking it but was willing to leave anyways bc bad service to me means they will mess up your food. We walked up and down Scottsdale, now officially living in Arizona, and notice anytime someone of color will go in the restaurant they will come right back out. So I decided to ask one of the families (black family) why did they leave and they said because the treatment. Unless you're white go somewhere else. Food is great at other locations but...
Read moreOur group went to watch the Sun's game, and the food was decent, waitress was friendly, but the place was hotter than hades. We were inside, and the management decided it was a good idea to keep the garage doors open during the summer in Phoenix. What in the world were they thinking?!? It's great to do this in the fall, winter, and parts of the spring, but come on, when it's 112 degrees out? I was sweating like crazy and so was everyone else in there. People were fanning themselves with their menus, and I had asked the manager to please turn on the AC and address the situation, and I was blown off like we didn't matter and that it being over 100 degrees was ok. The waitress was miserably hot and uncomfortable. They should change the name of this place to "Hot Customers & Terrible Customer Service". We decided to leave after the 1st quarter of the game, and take our money somewhere else. I hope this place adds at least some fans inside to address the situation. It is clear that they care more about the 7 customers sitting outside at the bar where the garage gate is, then the many hot customers inside. I feel bad for the staff there to work in...
