Old Town Scottsdale is a fun town. Stay in a local hotel and there is quite a bit within walking distance. Lots of food options although not quite as good as we had read before our trip. Plenty of local shops to browse and the art was a lot of fun to look at. We would probably make another visit to Scottsdale but only after we checked out Sedona and/or Flagstaff first. I do NOT recommend Scottsdale in June-August. It was EXTREMELY hot during our visit. Saying it's a dry heat will only go so far. 117 degrees is HOT no matter how you look at it.

Old town Scottsdale is not technically Phoenix but belongs to the City of Scottsdale. I like to pretend this is the real Phoenix as Downtown Phoenix was a disappointment, but Scottsdale certainly delivered. From art works and statues, to instagram worthy sites and friendly shops to browse through. Much cooler than downtown Phoenix and much more cultured. Plenty to see and do for at least 1/2 to a full day. Enjoy!

Old Town was my favorite place during our weeks vacation, there's so much history and culture to it with lots of stores, restaurants and other attractions that feels as though it would take days in order to see everything. I highly recommend taking the Segway tour through Old Town in order to see all the hidden gems you probably wouldn't find.

Great place to buy stuff or walk around. "Its electromagnetic" is not a complete explanation when I ask NBC what they're using to read my mind and abrasively guide me through an unfamiliar and apparently commercially successful "project" I'm leading just by existing and trying to figure out how to stop it. Scottsdale PD don't take my requests for help to be serious or anything they should pay attention to. Pushed back to mental health facilities which don't address it either. The technology and experience are clear, something is going on in this town. Why won't the city make sure my safety and human rights come before this project? How is it being filmed...

One of the finest places to spend some leisurely time. In the hot summers they have cool down stations, dining is often indoor and outdoor under covered air cooled patios. A pleasure for walking the updated old town. Shops, galleries, eateries, bars, pawnshops, mature trees and more. Please be advised: the town doesn't really get going till after 4pm, unless brunch is your thing and there are several good...
