BJ's Wholesale Club — Restaurant in Seabrook

I can see now why this BJ's has such bad reviews. As I was leaving their store after purchasing my items, I had to wait in line to be attended by the staff member placed at the exit to check our items. Before even taking the receipt that my daughter was handing him, he starts counting the items in the cart and cleared us to leave. Before leaving the store he goes and said "Oh, self checkout is 20 items or less". I asked him "Since when? Is that new?" I was generally curious because I did not know. He rudely replies "Ahh Never mind" waves his hand to brush us off and walks away. If self checkout is 20 items or less, there's no sign that said it anywhere near the registers so, everyone uses it to checkout. The lines are already horrendously long. So if you have a problem with that tough luck and do something about it, but don't give people attitude when they ask you a question that they're sincerely curious about. To top it off, nobody did absolutely anything for the their staff member "KURT" to be so rude about. I can see now why you have the ratings that you have. Seriously??? Are you kidding me??? Going to this BJ's on a regular basis makes me feel like I am going to an old Woolworth's. EVERYONE treats you like family... I MEAN EVERYONE!!!! I LOVE the employees there!! The dairy department goes above and beyond to check out back to see if my Kerigold butter is in. The meat department will cut my steaks and trim the fat. The gentleman in the deli is always respectful and says hello. (More gluten free options on the breads and cookies please❤) Tony, he works at the gas station, sometimes at the service desk, sometimes at a register, always ready with a smile. The manager is always saying hello and asking how I am doing. The flowers are always fresh and they last a long while. THE COUPONS ON THE APP SEEM TO BE GEARED TOWARDS WHAT I NORMALLY BUY!!! Watch this location for a credit card scam. We went there today for a simple membership for $25 bucks. My wife made it clear, even pointing to the $25 card picture on the counter, that all she wanted was a membership.

After completing the transaction we found out that they signed us up for a credit card as well. I spoke to the person who signed us up (identified as the team leader) and asked her to cancel the credit card. She refused and stated that we should have known that we were applying for a credit card because My wife "was asked for her SS#" I asked them to cancel our membership told them we would'nt ever go back. I left the material at the counter. When I got home I called corporate and they were very nice and told me they will submit the cancellation.
