Seaside Slushies & Dogs — Restaurant in Seaside

I brought my husband and my mother in law here recently since we were visiting Seaside. Usually I can't find a veggie dog or gluten free options anywhere, especially for a decent price. So when I came across this on Google to have all these different food options and for a reasonable price I was sold! The two guys working there(sorry I forgot their names) were soo nice and helpful. They answered any questions I had and had our food prepared quickly, hot and delicious. Free refills and the price was absolutely reasonable for 3 hot dogs, tater tots and drinks. They kept checking if we needed anything else, or had any questions. Really good vibes from them in general and my vegan, GF hot dog was so good! It's been so long since I've had a hot dog to fit my dietary restrictions. The tater tots were GF as well, and delicious. Crispy, hot yet soft on the inside. We went to seaside for the first time this weekend. After a hot day at the beach we began to walk around and check out the shops. At one shop we asked the woman working where the best food was. She told us “seaside dogs and slushees. Shameless plug it’s my recipe and my husband and son are over there.” After some more talking we went over. Mind you I do not like corn dogs, but I’m always willing to try new locally owned places. It was small but had seating inside, Chicago bears decor and memorabilia. Which we loved because we just moved to the PNW from the Midwest ourselves. The service was literally 100000% the best service we’ve had since moving this way over a month ago. Kind, honest, fast, considerate. I mean it was beyond perfect. The corn dog itself was also really good. The hand dipped breading was crispy and tasted so good. Next time we go we want to get the corn dog with Mac n cheese and bacon. I went from not liking corn dogs to wanted to have another one...

This is the best restaurant in Seaside. The main drag in Seaside is full of overpriced restaurants that pride themselves on removing all taste from the foods they serve, and when it comes to serving tasteless food, they do it very very well.

But Seaside Slushies and Dogs is the exception and should be the only place you eat in Seaside. The place does dogs, corn dogs and hot dogs. Every kind of dog with every kind of topping. Fries on the side that are crisp, hot and tasty.

Chili dog. Nacho dog. Chicago dog. Or just invent your own. This establishment is a gem. Got a problem. The owner is right there on premises to talk to you.

In the food desert that is Seaside, Seaside Slushies and Dogs is a welcome oasis. Don't be dissuaded by its modest facade and interior. This is the place. It is the only place....
