Great selection of rings; I bought two, but the interactions with the silversmith after purchase left me feeling very offended. Donāt expect top quality or ask for experienced service here. Otherwise, the rings are nice and a fair price. The cuts on the silver are rough, especially behind glued stones, and a bunch of rings have that green polish goop residue on it. āā Iād asked for an adjustable ring to be reshaped because the previous salesperson who did some work on it distorted it a bit so the ring wasnāt fully round and the gem part stuck up. The salesperson also found the stone to be wobbly and needed more glue, and asked the silversmith to take a look at it. The silversmith reglued it, and in the process, made the ring way smaller, so much so that I couldnāt get it back on my finger at all. When I mentioned this to him, he responded to me like I was crazy, said he didnāt resize it, and acted like I was out of my mind. Then, he grabbed the adjustable ring, roughly pulled at it to be bigger, and said āThere.ā So I gave up and left. When I talked to another salesperson about the other ring and green residue, the silversmith assumed he knew what I was talking about and started on this ramble about how each piece is handmade, etc etc. A rather rude man- so- if you like the rings, great. If you want anything to be adjusted/fixed/cleaned, albeit small, donāt expect great service here. The salespeople are nice, but not very experienced. The silversmith needs an ego check.
Two stars for the price and number of stone/gem options. Not a lot of small sizes available here though.
Coming from a family with goldsmiths, I know itās not hard to reshape a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGreat store, great variety, in my experience the jewellery holds up to the test of time without any issues. Three out of five stars for the sales staff -- you can be a great conversationalist, make all the right noises as I hem and haw over the color of the stone I'm looking for, graduate from some Emily Post charm school for all I care and woo me right off my feet but the second you start RUSHING ME when I'm in the zone and trying to feel my next piece out it's like being slapped with a dead fish, that's how fast I recoiled as soon as the sales girl's fingers started tapping out her obvious impatience to get on to the next one. Had the vibe been a little more chill, I would have undoubtedly spent more money but nah, I'd rather take my time and spend my money online. She literally asked me "Are there any other family members you might purchase for today or is that gonna be it for you?" At that point I wanted out more than she wanted me out and got there in negative six seconds flat. Take the money and go buy a chill pill dude, I'll let you know when I'm ready to pay up...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy daughter and I went to Seaside for spring break. One of our highlights is going to Molly Morgan. We missed last year due to shutting down for COVID-19. My daughters birthday was coming up so I told her to pick out some pieces. We spent A LOT of time finding pieces for each of us. One sales person started writing up our order as we finished up. She left our order by the cash register. Another sales person checked out a family with their treasures and accidently gave them our bag of treasures as well. By the time my daughter and I got to the register it was to late the other family had left. The sales people felt terrible, and were very embarrassed. We were sick about it. We spent so much time picking out these items. I write this not to blame Molly Morgan but to shame the family who made out with probably $150.00 worth my daughters birthday presents and a few of mine. SHAME ON YOU! Molly Morgan tried to find the same pieces but could only match a few of them. The low rating does not come from bad service or quality. It comes from the family not...
